According to my thought, LAND is the most underrated asset in Splinterlands game. Today I am going to deeply discuss the significance of PLOTs in Splinterland and why the new players should grab the juicy opportunity right now?
My overall concern about LAND, in a nutshell, can be expressed as-

While the SPLINTERLANDS itself contains ‘LAND’ in its name, the real fact is that no one cares or feels the necessity of LAND in the GAMEPLAY whether it is due to their in THESE COUPLE OF YEARS???

What I am expecting from LANDS?

When there is no one saying positive things in crypto, that’s the perfect time to initiate the strongest hype. At least my personal experience is the same as this and unluckily the current period is something like that. The crypto world is shaking with FUD but the best players are preparing themselves for the next move in the market. The biggest surprise always comes at the moment when the common people begin to lose their hope and interest in something!
Let me talk behind my assumption to conclude the overall thought on Splinterlands.

• Firstly, during the 2018 and 2019, the market was the same as now, the worse situation has been passed and it will be A GREAT FOOLISHNESS to think the SPLINTELANDS will move differently from the whole CRYPTO WORLD.
• There is always a crash in a good stock also and with a solid backbone and strategy it will go upward one day. So, focus on the future roadmap, not the current market.
• Patience is always bitter but its fruit is the is always amazing, who left Splinterlands in 2018 or 2019, they have their realization now. Similarly, those who are leaving now will realize their mistakes in 2024/5. It's just patience and controlling the emotions.
• While comparing with other games, Splinterland is steadily growing and many extravagantly hyped games have already died in vain. To sustain among the NFTgaming industry for 4 years with solid conditions is not a silly matter!
• Don’t forget the basic nature of any financial curve, there should be ups and downs.

Why you should be concerned about the LAND in Splinterlands?

As with the existing Monster and Summoner cards, Item and Spell cards will NOT be available through any booster packs. These items will NEVER be bought through the game as these ITEMS and SPELLS will be minted by the LANDOWNERS through the producing resources and constructing buildings. So, the total revenue from the PLOTs will directly go to the LANDOWNER pockets.
So just, think about the millions of dollars that are being spent purchasing Splinterlands cards through card packs but with this LAND EXPANSION how much money will be earned by the Splinterlands players who own LANDs.

PLOTs in Splinterlands?

I am not going to describe the LAND here, if you are known to NFT games and following this technological revolution, then you know what means the LAND in virtual world in metaverse or in the GAME METAVERSE. I am going to quote from the Splinterland's their to give the clear explanation of the basic operational function and impact of the LAND plots in gameplay.

The Splinterlands team is excited to release additional details about the next planned expansion for the Splinterlands game. This is by far the biggest update we have undertaken since building the game initially, and we expect it will take the entire Splinterlands ecosystem to a whole new level of both value and fun.

Not only are we planning to add new types of cards and a major update to the existing battle system, but we are also planning to add an entire additional game within the game to allow players to take control of the minting of the new cards. We think that this expansion will be groundbreaking - not just for Splinterlands - but for the entire blockchain-based gaming industry!

According to the my thoughts from the official release, I am going to sum up the ideas that could be seen in the existing GAMEPLAY as follows-

• Minting of new cards (both the items and spells) will be the most exciting that will give you more earning option.
• There will be added an extra gaming round for using the ITEMS and SPELLs that means GAME INSIDE THE GAME.
• There will be many new abilities from the minted spells and items that will increase the fun.
• Players will need more strategic moves in the battle rather than the costly and powerful cards.
• Different types of resources will be available from the different categories of PLOTs.
• Existing monsters will go for harvesting several resources for the overall gaming strategy and minting new cards.
• The scope of rewards will more versatile from multiple strategies and opportunities.

How many LANDs will be available in Splinterlands?

There will be total 150000 LAND PLOTS ever in the Splinterlands game in it's lifetime. And the most important fact is that all them already been sold out. The only way to buy these PLOT is the secondary markets such as hive-engine or tribaldex

The smallest unit of the LAND will be plot and there are different types of PLOTS such as Plains, Hills, Tundra, Swamp, Bog, Mountain, Canyon, Caldera, River, Lake, Forest, Jungle, Desert, Badlands. Why the price PLOT is lower???

At this point, I want to figure out some of my thoughts on the current devaluation of LAND PLOTS which is so contradictory to its future integration with the existing GAMEPLAY and REWARD policy from every aspect as much as possible. There are several reasons for the current dumped in LAND price and I have just pointed out here according to my thoughts.

• Most of the LANDOWNER who bought the PLOTS at 20 bucks have sold it at 600-800 bucks with a huge gains and bought CL packs during CL releases and as the market has crashed, all of them are holding their in game assets assets.
• These early birds have already made a huge profit by trading their LANDs as they bought it at only $20 and sell it with around $700-900. And the bear market always has the numerous FUDs and they are not buying now even in low price.
• Furthermore, there are several logical reasons behind the lower price as LAND will not have same category. There will be COMMON, RARE, EPIC and LEGENDARY which will be revealed at the final stage of LAND EXPANSION. So, maximum of these PLOTs will be COMMON and may be lose a significant value. So, numerous players and bloggers are spreading the uncertain fear of getting a common one by spending the same value which is something like gambling.
• Another solid fact is that the reward mechanism employment is still in underdevelopment and current price of SPS is demotivating the players to buy PLOT. Being a LANDOWNER, no one knows the the exact returns, so the hype is not created yet.

My over confidence in the bullishness of PLOTS, WHY?

1. The most important factor for the PLOT is the limited number of minting in the lifetime. Up to now, only this of game asset in SPLINTERLANDS is going to be at a fixed number. For the different cards from different eddition will be a ongoing process and so there will be tons of more cards in the future but there will be no more PLOT in Splinterlands! This reason is more than enough to be super bullish on PLOT!
2. Secondly there are a huge number of more expensive assets in the Splinterlands such as legendary cards and different types of totems. I have roughly summarised their number to get an idea as below:

I have used the asked price here and the total number is just added roughly from Splinterland game market, it is not exact because it is difficult to totally categorize and find out the exact number of cards. But it can be use as the reference about the number of most expensive assets in the game.

Now look at the price of Legendary TOTEMS and the ALPHA GF LEGENDARY summoners, they damn expensive and many of these are not listed in the market! So the roughly around 70000 number of assets has the price more than $200 which is in this current crashd market, then you can imagine how scarcity of PLOT will be in near future when the game will complete the next roadmaps!

I also didn't mention the ALPHA packs, BETA packs and the all the assets below $100 and more than 50 bucks which will be around 100000 copies! And there will be more ALPHA GF LEGENDARIES AND SO on......

That's are the most significan reasons behind my conclusions and these are only based on the SPLINTERLANDS development. If the overall crypto is boomed, then you can imagine what you will get from the Splinterlands in future if you have some PLOTs in your account.
