Hello, all of you lovely Splinterverse people. Another year passed, and we are in a new year with new life and new goals. I hope that all of you are enjoying the holidays with your family and friends. However, like everything in the new year, I have my own Splinterlands plan for the new year. I believe that Splinterlands is doing great nowadays. A lot of other blockchain games have been shut down or are having tough issues, and in that sense, Splinterland is alive for its strong community. In this post, I am going to discuss my 2025 plan for the game. I hope you will like it, and maybe some parts of my plan can be beneficial for you.
What I want to do with Splinterlands in 2025
There must be a plan that can properly guide us in evaluating our performance. When I think about 2025, I have big ideas for how I want to play Splinterlands, the Hive blockchain-based game. I want to get better at all parts of the game, from fighting to buying cards, from an entertainment perspective to an investment perspective. One of the most important goals is to get the most of my cards into max level. I have to play the game often and keep up with its changes every day. To make my journey through Splinterlands better over the next year, I will think about the following points carefully. I will continue with my earlier goal, which I talked about in the previous blogs.
Adopting New Strategy for Gaming
I'm going to improve my gaming approach in 2025 by focusing on getting higher awards and increasing my win ratio. First, I want to make sure that I don't miss any energy unplayed. Being tired most of the time last year made it hard for me to find time to play the game. I want to play as quickly as possible to keep the energy level in single digits.
The second thing I want to change is how to rent cards properly since high-level monsters are so much cheaper than CL cards. This can help me improve my cards and win more often. Many of the time, these high-level cards have better stats and skills than other cards, giving me a good opportunity to win more battles. I will also work on learning more about the skills and effects of each card. This will help me make the best decisions in a fight. I want to move up in the rankings and get more rewards by renting cards and improving my deck by adding more high-level cards.
Plan for Investment
In investment perspective, It's important to make smart decisions in Splinterlands if you want to do well. We have experienced a lot of turbulence, and most of the cards from old editions have lost more than 90% of their value already. So, I will be much more careful in this factor. I'm going to put my money only into some valuable cards and into other in-game items that will gain value over time, like lands or Licenses. As part of my plan, I also rent cards to build a strong deck without spending too much money on my daily battle that provides a good return. I also want to keep an eye on new cards coming out and the price changes that might happen. I can buy cards at the right time, and I am waiting for that time now.
The Plan for the Land
Lands are an important part of Splinterlands, and I'm going to pay more attention to them, too. I've stopped paying attention to my Land recently, so I'll make the most of my one EPIC Land plot to get some extra gains. Currently, I own an Epic land; by using it, I can make resources, craft things, and even hold fights. I want to get more land from the same region to make the production uniform and make the best use of the land I already have in 2025. Lands give me some resources that I can use to pay for other use cases, like renting cards and buying new versions of cards. Though the LAND EXPANSION 2.0 is loading meantime I am preparing for future updates accordingly to avoid the price jump during the announcements regarding land expansion.
Plan for Future Editions Cards
My current holding is based on the CL edition, which will no longer be usable in the modern format of battle, which I always play. So, I need a plan for the next edition so that I can play with them for a longer time. I am going to keep an eye on new card sets and additions that will be my next major stakeholder for my decks. I'm going to find out about new cards ahead of time and wait for crashes before I buy them to get the best deals. I will also look into which cards are most likely to do well in future battle formats, as everything tends to change here in the Splinterverse.
Other Things to Think About
Besides these major plans, I will also work on being involved in the Splinterlands community. Getting to know other players will help me learn new strategies and keep up with changes in the game. I will also keep an eye on how the game changes over time and any updates that could affect how I play, such as changes to the battle formats or how cards are balanced in the coming editions. My goal for 2025 is to make a strong, long-lasting impact in Splinterlands. I want to grow my account and do well in the game by making smart investments, playing strategically, and focusing on changes and evolution in new card editions.
Finally, I'm going to use the author rewards from my Splinterlands blogging challenge to buy the new edition card packs for better decks and continue my journey effectively. I have a lot of time to get ready for the next edition, and I am preparing now, which will make me more comfortable. I'm going to do these accordingly in 2025.
