This is a question I want everything to think hard on for a few moments? Stop reading and consider this.
Is it something you have even thought about?
Sadly, the tendency in cryptocurrency is to think short term. Most people are looking for the next bull market. How many are looking past that? Do you have a vision where things will be a couple of market cycles from now?
This is the difference between short term plays and long term investing. If your time horizon is less than 5 years with anything in cryptocurrency, that is not an investment.
Why do I say this?
Simply because we are so early in the game. We are still building infrastructure. Hence, whatever project is being looked at, it is still in its infancy.
This includes Leofinance.
Even though it is 3 years old, that is nothing. We need to give this some time to mature.

Leofinance For The Long-Term
Khal has never wavered from his viewpoint about thinking a decade down the road. When you are in your 20s, you can do that. At my point in life, I need things a bit quicker.
Nevertheless, long-term vision is where the real money is made. If you do not believe me, check out the Bloomberg Billionaire Index. Go through the first 20 names or so. It is very easy to equate them with a particular company. The key to their wealth was not a short-term trade. Instead, they stacked a lot of stock and let it grow over the years. Certainly it helped that people like Elon Musk and Warren Buffett were leading the corporations they are associated with.
Yet, when you think about it, to a lesser degree, that is us with Leofinance.
We have to keep in mind that 3 years is not a long time. Where was Tesla 3 year in? What about Facebook? Priceline? Amazon?
The reality is that most large scale success does not happen overnight. When it does, the fall is usually as quick as the rise.
With Leofinance we have the ability to look 60 months down the road.
Do you give it any thought? What does being a Lion look like in early 2028?
Nothing Shorter Than Three Years
The other day, in the post LeoGlossary: The Linking Model And How It All Flows, I discussed how my vision for that project is three years down the road. There are no results really being sought before then.
I took this approach because I know the size of the undertaking we are dealing with. At the same time, there is no reason to approach anything relating to Leofinace short term. It is simply an opportunity for those who have the vision to build and grow.
When we look at something in the near-term, the tendency is to reach goals and get complacent. This can come when building and in the markets. If we reach a certain level of success due to the price appreciation, the move might be to cash in.
What is Musk, Bezos, or Buffett cashed in at $10 billion? They all were set for life.
The answer lies in they weren't driven by the money. To me, LEO at $1 or $10 does not matter. I believe there is enormous upside. However, to get there is going to require a lot of building. Sadly, we need more builders but that is how life goes. Very few are willing to put in the work to achieve high levels of success.
Each day we have people focusing upon certain areas of the Leo ecosystem. Khal and the development team is banging out code. The business development team is looking at putting together projects that help the growth there. LeoThreads has a dedicated bunch who shows up each day and post their asses off.
All of this is feeding into Leofinance. Of course, none of it is going to result in major breakthroughs over the next 30 days. This is a long term process..
So what are your thoughts? Where will Leofinance be in 5 years?
I can tell you where I believe LeoGlossary will be.
