It was May 2021, my brother who lived in Malta suffered from cancer and had to undergo surgery, for which he was transferred to the city of London to perform the operation. I could leave him alone on the other side of the world and I decided to start my trip to the capital of England apart from that it was one of my dreams. We arrived in Chelsea where my brother would have a week to get to know the city before going into surgery.
Era mayo de 2021, mi hermano que residía en malta padecía de cáncer y debía ser operado por lo cual fue traslado a la ciudad de Londres para poder ejecutarle la operación. Yo al otro lado del mundo lo podía dejar solo y decidí emprender mi viaje hasta la capital de Inglaterra aparte que era uno de mis sueños. Llegamos a Chelsea donde mi hermano tendría una semana para conocer la ciudad antes de entrar al quirófano.
The area where we stayed, was a place taken from a book, I was shocked with what a first world country is, from the first moment with my camera in hand I began to take photos of everything. It seemed like a dream city, something I had never seen in my life, as you will understand I come from South America that does not have such impressive structures.
La zona donde nos hospedamos, era un lugar sacado de un libro, quede impactado con lo que es un país de primer mundo, desde el primer momento con mi cámara en mano empecé a tomar fotos de todo. Parecía una ciudad del sueño algo que en mi vida había visto, como entenderán vengo de Sudamérica que no cuenta con estas estructuras tan impresionantes.
Our primary objective was to visit the mythical Wembley Stadium but due to logistics problems we could get there, although we quickly went to Buckingham Palace, a very imposing and classy structure, its perfect architecture with a peculiar aroma from the gardens that surround it. A thing from another world, I managed to take many photos in this beautiful place which I present a few today in this post.
Nuestro objetivo primordial era visitar e mítico estadio de wembley pero por problemas de logística podríamos llegar aunque rápidamente nos fuimos al Palacio de Buckingham una estructura muy imponente y con clase, su arquitectura perfecta con un aroma peculiar por los jardines que se encuentran a su alrededor. Una cosa de otro mundo, logre tomar muchas fotos en este hermoso lugar las cuales les presente unas pocas hoy en este post.
I could not finish this trip without seeing through the window where Sherlock Holmes was launched in the film, it is one of my favorite films and the mere fact of knowing that it is in the city where it was recorded and where this character came to life made me a person. very happy. London is a beautiful city with contemporary structures of history that still stand and for art lovers this is beauty at its best, I want to visit more but time and money did not allow us but I hope to come back and tell you more of this great city.
No podía terminas este viaje sin ver por la ventana en donde se lanzó Sherlock Holmes en la película, es una de mis películas preferida y el solo hecho de saber que está en la ciudad donde se grabó y donde hizo vida este personaje me hacia una persona muy feliz. Londres es una ciudad hermosa con estructuras de la historia contemporáneas que aún se mantienen y para los amantes del arte esto es belleza en su máxima expresión, quede con ganas de recorrer mas pero el tiempo y el dinero no nos dejaron pero espero volver y contarles más de esta gran ciudad.
