A walk around the port early one morning
Good Morning all, today I am sharing a few shots from a semi recent walk I took early one morning down at the port
in fact I parked at the port but then walked up into the Historic Downtown district of New Bedford and got some shots I shared in another post, but as I was crossing the road heading back to the port from that walk I noticed a glow coming from the port and walked down to check it out and saw that the Tall ship the Ernestina Morrisey which is covered up for winter had some colorful lights on inside the ship and I had to get a shot of it

I had not noticed the lights on previous walks there even when the ship was covered up so not sure if they have just been added for a festive touch or not
Now this next shot was actually the first shot I took that morning just after I parked my car the reflections caught my eye

and the water so was very calm and still that morning so it made for some cool reflections

That morning there were not many clouds but we did get some nice warm colors on the horizon
Funny thing I just remember about that morning, I first had driven to the beach and it was incredibly foggy, so I changed my mind and drove to the port as I thought it would be cool to get foggy shots there, but as you can see there was no fog at the port, but I was intrigued and after I finished the walk drove back by the beach and literally a minute away from the port the fog was there but the port was all clear

and more reflections

Now finishing with the tall ship again, not sure if this was the same day and they had turned off the lights by this time or on another day
