Even though its foggy and cool keep smiling
I haven't shared many recent photos due to a variety of reasons, a big one being that with it being so cold I have not been out walking much, another I have bene busy with the grandkids over the last week or so and most likely for the coming weeks, and I am not complaining about that at all I love any time I get to spend with them, whether it it is just picking them up from school and dropping them off at home, or having them come to our place after school for a few hours :)
But I did manage to get out for a couple of morning walks this past week, one I will save for a Wednesday Walk post, but for this post I will share a few shots I took on a walk Thursday morning.
It was a very foggy morning so I headed out, and thought down by the port is always cool on a foggy day.
this first shot when I saw these bollards with smiley faces covered with snow did in fact make me smile so I had to share this image first

the next shot gives an idea of how foggy it was, to be honest when I first got there it was even foggier ( foggier??? is that even a word?) and I couldn't even see much past that first boat the sea horse, but I think this image a little later when the fog had cleared a little was worth sharing
On Thursday it was foggy all day it never cleared completely, and then Friday we got a lot of rain, which washed away a lot of the snow as thew temp hit 50 in the morning, before it cooled down again and by afternoon the rain turned to icy rain

I know I know I do take to many photos of the Nantucket, but I liked this view with the snow on the Pier and the round flotation thingy

A few of the boats in the morning fog, I love how fog gives a mysterious perhaps moody feel

And again this is a similar view I have taken before, but a bit different on a foggy day, the ships in the fog framed by the framing on the boat
