Lifeguard stands

or are they called Lifeguard towers I really do not know but that's the subject for todays post,
I have a habit whenever I walk a beach if I see one of these Lifeguard tower/stand thingies, I tend to take a shot of it and this morning ( as I prepare this post) I was at Jones beach and as I took a photo of one I thought why not do a post just focused on them and thats what I am sharing here, photos shared in the order I took them from about a year ago through to today and all early morning around sunrise

I got a few shots of the stands that morning so last one before we head to another beach and another day

Now this one is as you can see wooden as opposed to the metal ones at Jones beach and is on Silvershell beach in Marion MA, a Beach I visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was there again just the other day, a bit of a drive but worth it, its such a lovely spot

What a great subject! I love the lifeguard stands, that is what we called them, but, I know there are other names! I didn't know they had metal ones! That would probably be a little hot in the sun, yes?

Each shot has the halo of sunshine in it, bringing in the day.

The last shot is stunning. I hope you are having an amazing day!

I like the white lifeguard stand with the adirondack chair 🙂 Very stylish for something usually all purposeful and utilitarian. Photos are fun. Empty at sunrise. Waiting for the day to start. The lifegaurd and swimmers and crowds to come.

Amazing photos of sunrise and lifeguards. Wow, the viewer can't only focus on the lifeguard tower because the rays of sunrise attract all attention. Nice photography, the view of sunrise is enhanced on a beach. These spots are attractive.

Hahaha you know what happened that I was in here… we were sitting on a terrace… amazing views… enjoy watching the world go by. For a couple of hours as we are walking so much. Yesterday we reached 19.1 km today 14.7 km walks… and than it can be nice to switch off for a few seconds hahaha 😉
We are… discovering areas, districts, so far of the beaten path in Paris, that we saw today all day no tourists. In Paris… imagine that… so all is just perfect 😁😎
Now relaxing before bed. Signing of in a few moments 😉

Ohh it truly is
To be honest I was turned off Paris I found the locals very arrogant to visitors but once out of the city the people were more friendly
Hopefully that has changed

I haven’t come across arrogant locals yet. So far very friendly and welcoming.
But that is just our experience… it is definitely better than Spain. So we are enjoying it truly as Spain is so different.

In my area, if there is a high chair like that, it is placed on the volleyball court where one person sits. Thank you very much friends who have provided very beautiful pictures around Beach
