Mono Monday a few boats and such
Good morning all I hope you had a good weekend
and I as I do most weeks am starting the week with a few somewhat recent mono edits of some photos I have taken recently, this week focusing on Boats for the most part, even if there now the main thing in some of the images, they are somewhat related.
These were mostly taken on walks during the day near the water on the coast here in New Bedford,
Starting with this shot of a commercial fishing boat heading back into port, something I see many of here as it is one of the busiest fishing ports in the city, and each time I see one I feel respect for those who work on these boats such hard work and often dangerous, I have heard of a few sailors and boats being lost at sea, in the 3 years I have lived here

But we also have a few private mariners and private water craft such as this one also returning to port and passing by the Butlers flat lighthouse
I tried to mix up my Style of mono edits with different styles of editing and shades of color for the mono, I don't think I have a set color in mind for particular type of shots just as I edit them I pick a tine that I feel works for that image

Like this one I did a more moody edit of the boat Sinful tied up at this small pier

now this one the boat is kind of in the background the focus more on the Tower and Osprey next, I haven't had any luck catching the Osprey flying yet, most times I have visited this spot one Osprey stays int he nest and the other is sitting on the small platform beside it
