Mono Monday in Hazelwood Park
Good Morning everyone, another weekend has raced on by and the week begins and as is my habit I am sharing Mono shots for this post.
In my Wednesday Walk post last week I mentioned I had taken a nice long walk for almost an hour and a half in Hazelwood park and took a mix of shots that I will share in a couple of post, but I also got a few shots that I thought would work well in Mono.
Starting with this shot of this old Building in the park, it is Howland House, and was built in 1890

Someone had carved a heart in this tree I am guessing a fair while back as it seemed quite aged, and whoever did it didn't seem to have time to finish off the carving.
Now I have never seen the point of carving into a tree and even though I know that it most cases it doesn't actually damage the tree, but I am still not a fan of them.

As I mentioned in my Wednesday post, I didn't used to go out for many walks during the day mainly focusing on early morning walks, but for a couple of reasons I may be doing more daytime walks, and the cool thing about that is in daylight I can focus more on cool details I may see while I am walking, such as this feather laying on the ground.

This is a door on the side of the Howland house, clearly a woman's bathroom, but it didn't look like it had bene opened in quite a while
