Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Egrets
Good morning i hope your weekend is going well and wishing you a good week ahead
As is my habit for Sundays I am doing this post for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
Now one thing I find fits both of these categories is birds and for this post I will focus on some Egrets I have seen on walks around here, some fairly recent, some a little while back when I went out with my big heavy and long 200-600mm lens.
I haven't taken that out for a bit as I have bene trying to loose weigh and concentrating on both getting photos and getting a good walk in, and carrying that lens for to long gets tiring so I have bene taking other lenses mostly, but the lighter 50-4300mm lens is also good to catch birds sometimes.
Today I am focusing on Egrets and here is one coming in to land on the water

These are taking on walks by the water, I see them often alongside the Hurricane Barrier wall but also on the beaches, and they are quite aware of their surroundings, even trying to sneak up quietly to get closer to them sitting on the shoreline they hear or sense me coming and take off quickly
I think this is the same one just after it landed with the ripples in the water

I always think its cool when I catch a shot of them with the reflection in the water

one flying away from me when it sensed me coming with what I think is a blurry Cormorant in the background
