the pier by Fort Tabor Beach
As those that follow me know I often head to Fort Tabor Park here in New Bedford and there is a few reasons why
Firstly becaus eits a nice spot with the beach and the nice walking loop around the fort
Secondly is the ease of parking there is a good parking area there and strictly speaking you need a beach pass displayed in your car to park there, which I dont have this year, but during the early morning around sunrise when I go there theey don't worrry about the beach pass.
Thirdly is its fairly close by and if I have planned to go somewhere else, and for some reason that place doesnt pan out, I just head to the park.
Now you may wonder why other places do not pan out, well that can be a variety of reasons, no parking in another spot for example, another reason is sometimes I get to a spot and there are some people hanging around that I just dont get a good feeling about parking and walking there with them around so I head elsewhere
Now I do not want to give the impression that New Bedford where i live is dangerous as for the most part I feel safe here, but there are some spots i tend to avoid especially when its dark, and like every city it has its good and bad elements and I try to avoid the bad elements.
Now in fort Tabor park, the only other people i see there are people walkign dogs or fishing so its always safe there, I think in part its a spot the pole cars on patrol often pass by
OK that a bit of a waffling start to lets get to the photos
