the sun peeking over the horizon
Here it is Christmas eve, but i know that in some places including down Under it is Christmas day already, so to those from there wishing you a very Merry Christma
Good Morning, I hope life is treating you well
Again I am digging through my archives for a few shots to share today, the weather has bene uncooperative for me to get out for photo walks of recent, eithere to cold, and i know to cold is relative and i will touch on that in a second, or the days the temps climb up a bit to nice walkign temps for me its either been steady rain or heavy winds, both not what I like for gettign out for photo walks.
Now as to the term to cold, I know the temps we have here arent so bad as compared to other places, such as parts of alasaka which I think of as my wife loves watches shows based in alaska, especially those living off the land, I do find it funny as she hates the cold more than I do, and living off the land sure isnt her style, for trips away she likes a nice hotel to stay in the thought of camping or even glamping doesnt appeal to her at all.
Back ten years so so I would have been quite happy to go hiking and camping, but i must admit i am gettign softer as the age clicks up and now adays I to much prefer a hotel or BnB to stay.
Also back 10 years ago I used to get out more walking in the cold, at this time of year when I worked in NYC I would have bene headign in early and walkign all around the city catching shots of the trees and festive decorations no matter the temp.
But not so much these days, with having had TB and other health issues recently I feel the cold a lot more, sure I can layer up and most of me feels good but breathing in when the temp is at or below freezing really gets to me these days and from past experience i know that now if I do that walking and breathing in freezing air I will get sick, so I have to be sensible, if the temp is below freezing point them I stay indoors and warm
Ohh well I have done it again a waffling into to this post, so let me get back on track
often when I go out for wals in the early morning i like to get to the spot I am going around an hour before the sunrise, catch some of the morning blues and then with luck maybe some nice colors as the sun gets close to rising
Around the time the sun rises, I am often done with photos and may stay a bit longer to get some more steps in, but its not that often I take photos as the sun rises over the horizon, but I do get a few which I will share here
