Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!

At It Again!

Sooooo finally I can lift the car up and tear it down, again right before the holiday seasons! This time I have some serious work to do and not just a simple service! Nope!

I have major suspension work to get done with but first I have to tear it down right!

I might not want to tear it down in fear of finding more faults than I realize there is. But let's get tearing!

The Companion!

So this isn't exactly my dog... it's my uncles dog and she is always up to lend a helping hand to me! Always even if she can just keep me company while I work!

She especially wants to help when she realizes me grunting from struggling! Laughs, I swear they know a lot more than we think they do! But anyways let's jump into this one!
I have crazy tear down to do here!

The Entire Front Suspension!

Wait what?

Yeahp you read that right I have to tear down the entire front suspension and on top of that I have to do the brakes and the much needed service!

What is really off putting for me is that I have to do all of this while covered in ground, if you loosen a bolt there is ground falling everywhere!
So when I assemble all of this I might need to do some major cleaning before that!

On The Last Bit Of Brakes!

Dang more than often I am hella glad that I can do all of this myself! Because I've spent a ton of money on all the parts already and imagine that I have to spend more on labour and all that shit!

So the brakes are on the last bit of life and every time I buy my brakes in the nick of time! What a way to go it might be that I know my shit or I know my car!

Legitly two days after I got my brakes they started scraping against the discs, so I had to do light braking for a few days!

Getting It All Out!

I'm nearly there! Mostly everything is already bolted loose from the wheel hub assembly and now I have to get that heavy thing out of there!

This is not really a big mission but while I held the hub assembly in place the Betty unbolted the last bolt for me! After that I could lower it out of the wheel arch!

What Needs Replacing!

So all of it is in major need! The shock setup needs to be replaced, so I have to get that huge shock out and then I need to replace the control arm and the swaybar link and on top of that the brakes, oh and the upper shock mounts!

Awesome stuff right! I did all of it while I am busy with all of it! Slacking on just one thing can cause premature wear on everything I replaced!

I'll Just Leave Everything Hanging There!

So while I wait for all the parts I'll just leave everything hanging there!

The shocks still need to arrive and one of the lower control arms! Dear lord I hope they arrive before I need to get on the road for the long trip!

But time will tell! I am sure everything will arrive in time though!

Travelling is always a concern to fix stuff on my car too.
Everything just has to work. With the bad roads in my place, you just have to have good shocks and preferably drive a good SUV at the least.

Yeahp I don't drive an SUV though, however I really want one! An Audi Q5! More of a luxury SUV but still I want one! I can trade my car straight up for one of those!

Well I've driven a lot of SUVs, trucks and sedans, and I always love the feel of an SUV. Same goes for trucks, asides the loads of fuel trucks consume.
Never driven an Audi Q5 but I hear the drive feel is sporty.

Well done to the Betty who assist you.
Travel safe and take care.

She's always helpfull!

Will do, hope the roads aren't too busy!)
