Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!
Something To Be Shamefull Of!
Yeah I know things are hard on all of us but you've got to keep your stuff maintained! Especially when you don't have money! Money for a seal or money for a new car, you can decide what you have money for!
It's hectic!
We worked on the transfer case a few months back and now we've got major issues with this job... issues that isn't even our problems! This guy promised bossman a hunt and he never delivered but now he wants us to deliver?
Weigh the scales?
Yeahp! It looks real bad right!
Discussion!
So I was on the job to fit this transmission back into the vehicle! I saw something and bossman decided to brake me. After I showed him the photos of how this vehicle looked underneath!
Now I don't mind working on stuff like this... I really don't but I don't want to fit the transmission back into the vehicle and then shit goes sideways and I have to remove it again!
This post is mostly going to be about how horrendous this pickup was taken care of!
Check this shit out?
Let's Run Through It!
For starters... the entire left bank on the V6 motor has no more exhaust manifold bolts left.... Like there is one hanging on for whatever it is hanging on for!
That's hectic.. how does this not bother this guy!
Terrible!
This is hectic!
Both engine banks are so thickly sealed that I can close three transmissions with all that sealant!
See what happened here was those seals were leaking and those guys just went ahead and stuck some sealant over the leaking spots. What a way to go and I'm betting you this was done recently!
Terrible!
Check how bad this one is!
This Must Be The Worst!
So I noticed this and I saw that there was an allen key chilling between the mounting supporting the engine!
Yeahp! I at first thought damn this is a big score and it's the six allen key we like so much!
Tried pulling it out to no avail! I looked closer and saw it lodged in there but with a purpose! To hold this entire engine in place!
Whack stuff!
We phoned the owner to come have a look at this crap going on, I bet he wont be happy at all!
For the sake of it!
Well I decided to get as much pictures as I could on this vehicle, just because bossman wanted to see it all. He did see it with his own eyes though... But I think it's more a case of evidence.
There is not a spot on this pickup that has not leaked and the worst part is, it doesn't look like they even tried to clean things off when replacing said parts!
Be carefull to whom you send for services!
A sweaty story!
I would actually like to be next to bossman when this is discussed on the morrow. This guy is going to fall on his back! He had this pickup at some other shop just a few months ago and they clearly just didn't care all that much to tell him about all this.
Or perhaps they were supposed to work there but they didn't or left it in such a state!
