Growing up, I know deep within me that I love anything attached to musical instruments that deal with blowing or whistling. The affection was so strong deep within me in my childhood days and yes I can feel it that is the genre of music I love.
I remember then when the affection really grew so strong and old within me and I can't resist it, I just need to respond to the call for it. That made me to get a recorder back then.
I getting a recorder means so much to me because it just seems I find my lost partner. It grew so strong and urge within me. In my leisure time, I am patiently with my recorder playing it and listening to the beautiful sounds it produces.
I actually sought for people to teach me the recorder but my effort to reach out was all to no avail so I resulted to teaching myself through constant practice. As time goes on, I begin to grew a bit perfect in the recorder but something in me still thirst for a more model Musical instrument.
I remember somebody playing a saxophone in my church then which actually lead me to fall in love with the instrument. The way he plays the instrument couple with the solemn sound it produces without stress, that actually makes me fall in love with the instrument more.
Even though I so much love Music, I still find it difficult to sing. When I say sing, I mean singing as how a singer will. To a lot of people surprised, I was in the choir in my Church for close to 3 years but I never for once led any praise and worship session at once because of the feeling my choir master have towards me that I am a bad singer.
Even though I love to get the saxophone instrument, the cost of getting one will not prevent me and so I need to put my desire for a hold for a while. As time goes on and as my financial state begins to improve, I finally was able to get one which actually help me to fulfill my dream at last
Well that's enough of introduction, the main reason of this post is why I actually love the saxophone instrument which I will dive into now
WHY I LOVE THE SAXOPHONE INSTRUMENT
(1). MY LOVE AND PASSION FOR IT
That is the solid foundation why I love the saxophone. The passion and love for the genre of the types of the musical instruments just make it stand out. some people will be wondering if then you love this genre of music, why didn't you choose the trumpet, well I prefer saxophone because my soul connect to the instrument more and flow with the rhymes of the sound
(2). The Flexibility of the Keys
Yes the flexibility and possession of different keys just make me get attached to it also. On saxophone, you can a lot of keys on the instrument depending your preference you will wish to play on at that particular time.
Giving that range of keys give musical instrumentalists that freedom to explore the instrument which actually fit to what I love. Been able to have varieties of keys to play on with less stress compare to the trumpet
Even though I have one now and we'll I am still in constant practice of it, I believe in the next two or three years, I should be able to master the act properly given that I now have knowledge about the recorder in background.
That looks so good and I trust the teaching and learning. I have a tutor and I do attend the lessons before academic activities crip in but I am planning to return to the practice this month. The desire is still burn and I just thank God I was able to achieve the dream of owning a saxophone
The next step now is to devote my all time to learning it to be more better in it and be expert in it someday. I know it will not be easy as it will require a lot of practice, dedication and practice but I am ready to give it all for the instrument I loved most. Well I am still looking for that day
