Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...

It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!

Well ocean is the inspiration ...

I was at the beach over the weekend so of course it was windy so the sea was fair frothing at times.

Did you see the picture I posted as the lead image, do you see the flowers hanging on for dear life, they are not gone yet, a bit like us Silver Bloggers...

So we had out latest Silver Blogger getting a name and that was @oceanbee who is Silver Ocean in our community and you can check out her naming post The Silver Ocean

Couple all this with I heard that Ocean Colour Scene were going on tour next year and bam we have the origins for ttt175!

Today we are having three Ocean Colour Scene tunes!

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 175 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post Ray LaMontagne for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 174 - win 6 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the TWELVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Who are Ocean Colour Scene?

Well glad you asked!
Ocean Colour Scene are an English rock band that formed in Birmingham in 1989. They were part of the Britpop scen and blend that with rock and some soul too!

Ocean Colour Scene - The Riverboat Song

The Riverboat Song is a signature track from the album "Moseley Shoals." It was touted all the fluffing time by the ginger minger Chris Evans!

The song features a driving rhythm, catchy guitar riff, and powerful vocals.

Next up is one of my favourites from Ocean Colour Scene

Ocean Colour Scene - The Circle

Did I go full circle!

Oh what a tube ... enjoy while I say a few words....

I think this was their biggest hit, it was from the same album as The Riverboat Song.

Actually I think it is even more relevant now that when it was released in the 90s as yes all about social circles and being on the outside, all this pressure on social media I think this is an apt song for today!

Ocean Colour Scene - One For The Road

Well fluff it, we are going to stay on the one album, well that means I can do another ttt on Ocean Colour Scene!

So a bit of an apt song to close out this ttt. I was thinking of @ifarmgirl when I listened to this and thought it might be mellow enough that she likes it! Hehe you never know!

What did you think?

Which was your favourite (if any) ? Or is it not one I played?

Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

Thanks for visiting!

Never heard of them before, but they have a great rock sound. I guess they never became big over in the US. I'll have to check them out some more here, they're pretty good!

This old guys really have vibes. 'The circle' reminds me of my childhood days; the plays, friends and nervous moments to try things out. Nice guitar mix too anyway.

Yeah the guitar play is cool on all their stuff. Oh yes I get the childhood reminiscence about The Circle!

Interesting. I have never heard of this band before. They are going to get added to my Spotify for sure though. I like what I hear!

Yeah I like them, and hadn't listened to them for years until I heard they were launching a tour soon.

Very cool!

I hadn't heard this band before, but it sounds good. I liked Ocean Colour Scene - The Circle!!! Regards

Yeah I think The Circle is my favourite too.

Lovely tie in of ocean all around, well done. I have never heard of OCS, no wonder really because at the time I lived down under and had different bands on my mind, I mean in my ear. Also - grunge time!

Hehe yeah I don't grunge was as big in the UK as it was elsewhere, we had the BritPop scene going on.
Ah well it just had to be an Ocean blending post!

The band is new to me, guess I had other things occupying me in life during those days😄

I can't figure out which is my favourite, but I like how you've sequenced them, from two energetic songs to a toned down one. Nice collection

Yeah they do have a varied play set. They were up there at the time of Blur Pulp Oasis etc.

Impressive guitar riff, Tito Ed. My first time listening to them and it's nice to learn about another music band today through this. I like the songs, especially the last one :)
