Hello Hello Silverites and bees of the Hive!
I posted yesterday about my Wednesday Walk to our local beach and the weather was pretty meh, windy and overcast and a bit nippy for July!
But what a difference a day makes!
This was my view this morning at 7.30am
I was being sneaky and sitting on a bench sipping a coffee☕
Yep, the sun was shining and the sky was blue and the water it be ashimmering!
It made for strange colours too when looking towards it, as this boat picture showed.
You really can't beat an early morning walk to sest yourself up for the day. Considering how close this is to me ( a 7 minute walk) I should do it more often than once a week. Now (touch wood) the better weather is here though, then I shall pop down more often.
Although I did pick high tide time, which meant half the beach on the side where I was standing was pretty much under water!
I got some cracking bird pictures which I have saved for a later date. That was a cracking big pier that has disintegrated over the years. A bit like us and falling apart 🤣🤣🤣 You can see parts of nearby Edinburgh over the water though.
Birds soaring in the sky, gliding over the water, the sun shining that is such a soothing picture to me. Sometimes we just need to sit down and smell the roses so to speak, and the sea has a habit of doing that to me. It is my relaxation method.
You can't tell from this shot, (which I included so that @dreemsteem could see the lighthouse with a clear sky behind it) but the couple on the jetski were most definitely Silver Jetskiers!
Then the time dawned on me and I had to head home to await a plumber who was needed to fix our broken gas boiler!
Thankfully it was only a small part that needed replacing.
Tomorrow is another day, I hope you all have a good one, some of us have a party to get ready for!
All images and ramblings are from me, the mad Scotsman @TengoLoTodo unless otherwise stated.
Haste Ye Back!
