The third weekend of 2025 is here and with it the second weekly report of my Saturday Savers Club participation for 2025.

I am publishing this in our Silver Bloggers community as we do have an interest in crypto and this involved two cryptocurrencies!

Reward Yourself

As far as I am concerned you should reward yourself whenever you like.

So I took Mrs T with me when I had to do a spot of business in St Andrews on Friday.

We wandered around and saw some of the sights....

But balked at the fluffing price of these flowers.
Twenty quid and even forty-five quid! Lord only knows how much this florist would charge at Valentine's time for a half arsed wee droopy rose!

Rewarding ourselves

Mrs T is a pizza fan, and as she had minor foot surgery on Monday I thought I would take her to a pizza restaurant.

I am not a big pizza fan, probably because they are pretty crap over here!

This though was fuffing outrageously good and deserves a post all for itself!

The pizza above was the Chef's Dare. You ordered it without knowing what you are getting!

It was ridiculously good.

The ice cream was good old fashioned Italian ice cream complete with a chocolate flake.

The spoons made me chuckle, did you see the spade and shovel?

Saturday Savers Club

I have been reading some of the posts from other Saturday Savers and I kinda miss not tracking other Hive layer 2 tokens.

Maybe I should be collected them in those gorgeous bag savings bank we saw in a charity shop when we were at St Andrews.

Unfortunately the bottom plug was missing or I might have been tempted to get for saving some coins!

I shall be Using the Penny a Day Savings Challenge

I have not decided how I will report my progress but at the moment I am tracking my daily progess ...

Primary Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD

Now then I did say I was doing my version of the penny savings challenge.

One thing that I have learnt about the savings penny a day challenge is that (for me anyway) if you start out slow and do the penny and three penny amounts that when you get to the two and three dollars to save a day it is way harder!

So .... I cannot be a ....

... Lazy Bum does not cut it...

Ed's Special version makes use of the make hay while the sun shines philosophy...

I have been extremely lucky to have received some amazing post payouts recently so I am topping up my 2025 savings pot ahead of schedule!

Being a lazy bum will not cut it!!!

As you can see from my account screenshot I really am flying along with 57.141 HBD in my savings pot ...

Charity shopping

Charity shops are great fun and you can find some wonderful finds...

This is ar art deco vase from the 1940s...

The price?

Have a wee guess, and I will tell you after the N2H section!

Secondary Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC

Like many of us I sold Bitcoin well below what it is now!

I also believe it will keep going up in the long term...

So I decided to buy 3 USDT worth of Bitcoin each and every day...

I have an auto-invest order on Binance...

Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC

The amount of Bitcoin I have now is ... 0.00046858

Which is 0.00028419 more than last week!

... 0.00018439 Bitcoin

It is fun to collect things .... Now it is $HBD and $BTC..

There we have it, it should be an interesting year!

My SSC goals for 2025 with progress to date are :

Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD, To Date 57.14 HBD, 8.55% progress.

Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC, To Date 0.00046858, 4.28% progress

I was never a NFT fan but I want my N2Hs
Nice 2 Haves I have no idea if that is a thing, but fluff it, it is now!

I am always pleased to read about your eating exploits. That pizza and ice cream looked great, but I am sure my blood sugar would have went sky high from it.

I really don't have any crypto goals, but I guess I should.

Wow, I would be rich if I could get those prices for my plants, I sold these types in this size pot for 1 dollar. I got 5 dollars if it was a special plant, none of these are special. The plants on the left are called pencil plants, all you need is a piece of one to grow them, just break it off and plant it, an easy one to grow. The same with the green and white one it is a spider plant, they put out pups, break one off, and plant. I wonder if they sell any at that price.

Way to go on saving! A great start! I'm trying to stack those sats while they're still affordable. BTC will be astronomically high in just a few years. Glad your wife's foot is doing well, and that food and desert looked great.

Yeah it was a mystery shop so getting paid to eat them was even better. I just saw your delicious foodie post Super Eli 💙 so I should really do that for the restaurant too.
