Hello everyone, how are you today..? I hope you are fine and always happy and welcome back to my simple photography and blog post, Still with the world of photography.
Today, I will share some collections of photographic images that I captured some time ago when I went to an island in the country of Indonesia. Weh island or also known as Sabang island is a small volcanic island located northwest of Sumatra Island. This island was once connected to the island of Sumatra, but was then separated by the sea after the last volcanic eruption in the Pleistocene era. This island is located in the Andaman Sea.
I took an almost perfectly round sunset through a dry tree branch, my goal in taking it like this is to make the sunset frame located in the middle of the open twigs look dramatic.
the picture below is Zero kilometer monument is located on Sabang Island, Aceh. The island is known to have a very enchanting natural scenery. It has the privilege of being used as a sign of the westernmost part of Indonesia's boundaries.
The renovation of the Zero Kilometer Monument was inaugurated on 9 September 1997 by President Try Sutrisno. Mr. Try Sutrisno inaugurated the opening of the 0 Kilometer Monument by signing a round pillar. The location of the pillar is on the first floor of the monument building.
The zero Kilometer Monument RI or commonly called the Kilometer Zero Monument is a unique geographical marker in Indonesia. This is related to its role as a symbol of the glue of the archipelago from Sabang in Aceh to Merauke in Papua.
This monument is not only a marker of the farthest end of the western part of Indonesia, but also a historical tourist attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
Many tourists visit the zero kilometer monument to enjoy the sunset which can be enjoyed directly without any obstacles. The location of this monument is located in the Sabang Tourism Forest area, precisely in Iboih Ujong Ba'u Village, Sukakarya District, Sabang. It is located in the west of Sabang City, approximately 29 kilometers or takes about 40 minutes by car.
That's some pictures and a little story that I managed to shoot and get that day, I hope my friends love it.
