A few days back it was Viswakarma puja, I was quite busy and I had issue with my android device and needed to get it fixed. Today I wanna share some memory of the day. It consists of two phases: First, 'The worshiping of Vishwakarma', the god of architect and crafstman to have his mercy on us for we can build staffs like him and the second is 'Flying kites'
It's a sunny day, a few days back on the day of Viswakarma puja ( God of architect and craftsman). Every year there be a little bit of rainfall on the day. But this time there was no rain at all. As the day began, a gentle warmth of sun a sense of optimism and vitality. When the sun continued to ascend, Its ray's got more intensed.
We have construction business and every year we celebrate on the day of 'Viswakarma puja'. There always be a pandel and workers are invited to the party and there always be a feast for them. The worship was early in the morning and it was completed with affection and devotion. There you can see some glimpses of it.

It comes on 17th or 18th september every year. People like to fly kites. Through out the day kites can be seen on sky flying everywhere. In previous occassion, I never saw such a thing. No kites at all this time. If the weather were quite dim, we must see some of them at mid-day.

In the afternoon, while the sun started descending and elongating the shadows, people came out with their lathai( thread 🧵 holder for kites) and kites in hand. In childhood, we would always fly kites on the day of 'Viswakarma puja'. From previous seven days, we started working on our 'lathai',the thread for kites. We used to coat our thread with fine glass and glue. We call it 'Manja'. It was done because we need our kite thread sharp so that we can paly 'kata-kati'. There would be a fight with kites; who can cut whose thread on the air.It was very amusing and recreational acivity. We always got hurt in finger while we played because of continuous pulling of sharp thread to beat the other boys.
In the after noon while people and specially the boys vame out, tried flying theirs kites. 🪁Keenness of childhood is no more. In the afternoon I didn't take my cellpohone with me. So there isno photo of kite in the sky.😂
