Todays Update - Day 12
Thankfully I did not get another life quest today, instead, I got an earth quest. It went alright. It was not my best day but it could have gone worse. I did get my first draw to though which was interesting. Regrettably, I received another legendary potion.
Sadly, no Hive rewards from my post seven days ago. This means no Hive Power increases and no increase to my RC. It also means there is a lack of assets to convert to DEC. That's ok though.
While on the topic of DEC, I've got a bit of a funny story. I wanted to open up the Giftgiver Faucet to get a little bit of Hive Power. I typed faucet into my search bar and let autofill do the rest without paying attention to what had actually been autofill. Turns out I had been brought to the Splinter Labs Faucet rather than the Giftgiver Faucet like I had originally intended. This, however, was actually a boon. Someone had recently donated 10,000 DEC to the faucet, which meant that a considerable amount was dropping each time. I, along with other individuals took advantage of this to collect some free DEC. I had somehow been on the account that I intended to use to donate DEC to the faucet once I had been done using it, rather than one the-ascendant. I had collected 59.468 DEC before I realized what was happening. Thankfully, I was able to rectify this mistake and transfer the DEC to where it was supposed to be going with the help of the faucet's gifting mechanism. This allowed me to fulfil and align my actions with my intentions. After sending the DEC to the proper account, all further DEC was collected on the right account, that is, the-ascendant. Fun times though, am I right? The one thing I will say, however, is that thankful none of this costs RC because then I would be running into some issues. Overall, in the past day, I used the faucet 30 times and collected 132.488 DEC. I had this transferred to my Splinterlands account to help get me some more airdrop points.
Concerning DEC and cards, I have not yet bought any cards. I might check in with a few people on discord to see what their thoughts are, although one of the cards I think I will buy first is Uraeus. It is a reward card, but it is also an epic card with lots of utility, plus if I get one from rewards later on, I would likely be able to rent it out or I could just hold it for cp.
Today I received 0.019 SPS from the airdrop and another 0.002 from staking. I guess my staking collection timing was slightly off from yesterday. Oh well.
Due to work and other commitments over the next few days, I might be a little late in uploading the next couple posts. I will do my best to complete my daily quests on time and collect my SPS before airdrops occur in order to ensure accuracy and that I have this information available to me when I am able to write these posts.
With that, all tables are updated and I'll see you all tomorrow.
