Finally The Last Trip of 2021 - Letchworth State Park

This was the last trip I took in 2021 on the Suzuki DR650. Sorry it took so long to post this, I kept screwing up bad. I re-did this video 3 times :( I'm going to do a follow up to this in a couple days talking about all the issues I had.

So this is Letchworth State park and I camped in Ossian State Forest. It was unbelievably cold that night. First time camping below freezing. At first I was worried about hypothermia but I had enough kit to stay warm.

There's no camping in Letchworth after October so I needed to find someplace close by to camp. Ossian is about 20 minutes away so I camped there.

It always make me smile when you mention this place as Letchworth is a few miles from me, but looks quite different. Camping in the winter can be tough, but just need to be prepared.

I would love to travel the UK by motorcycle. You have such beautiful countryside's.

I'm going to try to avoid "winter" camping at all costs. Although I'm getting the bug for a springtime adventure. Took the bike out the other day and there's still snow banks on the side of the road. 🤣

We have some fun roads, but need to be careful out there. We have some nice wild places, but not so many near us. I've done loads of camping and am happy to sleep in a proper bed these days.
