There is only two sides to a coin, it's either a head or a tail. Same way in life there's only two options, it's either you do the wrong thing, or the right thing Or so I thought until I met the Purple elves. They taught me that there was three options in life.
Do good, do wrong or do nothing. And the purple elves tend to choose the third option a lot. They were the laziest set of elves.
I had two of them as my best friends and embarking this Journey with them was a bit useless. They didn't really contribute anything, they were only concerned with acquiring the magical Orb and level up their powers. Despite that, I couldn't actually be successful on this journey without my purple elf friends, considering the fact that they were the only ones that knew the location of the Orb.
While the purple elves were concerned with the magical powers of the Orb, I only wanted to experiment on it and learn about the origin of it's power. It sounds crazy that I'll choose science over magic, I just have this urge to unravel as many elf mysteries as possible.
~Guys I hope this Orb is really everything you say it is. I asked my friends.
-Josh, you really think a Lazy Elf like me would leave my comfortable bed and come lurking in the woods for two days.
That was a bit reassuring. He was totally right, The purple Elves never get their hands messy, unless there was a huge profit in it.
~But then the route is not as rough and dangerous as you claimed. You two said there were evil creatures that guarded the Orb.
-Don't get comfortable Josh. The journey has only begun.
~Two days in this jungle, and you say the journey has just begun.
-Just be alert Josh. I'm sure you will get plenty opportunity to show off those skills you learned from your kungfu classes.
Chris and Rick have been my best friends right from our childhood days. They were the funniest elves I've ever met in my life. They were never serious with anything. I often wondered what it felt like to be carefree like my friends. How it felt to be incurious about the mysteries of life. I was drawn to it all, I wanted to know what the universe was like before the elves came into existence. I wanted to know how we came into existence. I wanted to know the source of all magic.
On the third day of our Journey, that is when our adventure truly began. We were faced with a junction with five pathways.
There was a sign in a tree which said;
There is only one true path to your destination. Choose the right path and the Orb is yours. Choose the wrong path and you will be lost forever.
After reading the sign, I stood there thinking for a while. This was a crucial decision, and taking making the wrong choice would be disastrous.
~Which pathway do we take? I asked.
-Josh honestly it could be any path way.
~I thought you two knew the way to get to the Orb.
-Our directions are based on feedback from people who have made this journey previously. Nobody has ever made it past this point before.
~In that case, we need to think carefully. If we make the right choice, the Orb is ours. If we make the wrong choice, we just might end up dead.
-Josh you are forgetting the third option. We could decide not to make a choice. It's not too late to go back.
~ guys, I can't go back now. I'm going to do this with or without your help.
-Goodluck with that Josh. We would be here waiting.
I wasn't surprised at The purple Elves reaction to the situation at hand. As usual, they would choose to do nothing rather than risking their lives. The ball was in my court. I took a deep breath, with my heart beating fast, I took a bold step into one of the pathway. I clenched my hands tight, closed my eyes not knowing what to expect.
I opened my eyes slowly and there it was. Sitting on a majestic throne, surrounded by beautiful flowers with radiant green lights glowing around it. The Orb was more magical that I could ever imagine. I did it! I have acquired the Orb. Now I can finally satisfy my curiously about magic.

A pesar de eso, no podría tener éxito en este viaje sin mis amigos elfos púrpuras, teniendo en cuenta el hecho de que eran los únicos que conocían la ubicación del Orbe.
Mientras los elfos púrpuras se preocupaban por los poderes mágicos del Orbe, yo sólo quería experimentar con él y conocer el origen de su poder. Parece una locura que elija la ciencia en lugar de la magia, pero tengo la necesidad de desentrañar todos los misterios elfos posibles.

~Dos días en esta selva, y dices que el viaje recién comienza.
-Sólo mantente alerta Josh. Estoy seguro que tendrás muchas oportunidades de mostrar esas habilidades que aprendiste en tus clases de kungfu.

En el tercer día de nuestro viaje, fue cuando comenzó realmente nuestra aventura. Nos encontramos con un cruce de cinco caminos.
Había una señal en un árbol que decía;
Sólo hay un camino verdadero hacia tu destino. Elige el camino correcto y el Orbe será tuyo. Elige el camino equivocado y te perderás para siempre
Después de leer el cartel, me quedé pensando un rato. Era una decisión crucial, y tomar la decisión equivocada sería desastroso.
~¿Qué camino tomamos? pregunté.
-Josh honestamente podría ser cualquier camino.
~Pensé que ustedes dos conocían el camino para llegar al Orbe.
-Nuestras indicaciones se basan en los comentarios de la gente que ha hecho este viaje anteriormente. Nadie ha pasado por este punto antes.
~En ese caso, tenemos que pensar cuidadosamente. Si tomamos la decisión correcta, el Orbe es nuestro. Si tomamos la decisión equivocada, podríamos terminar muertos.
-Josh estás olvidando la tercera opción. Podríamos decidir no hacer una elección. No es demasiado tarde para volver.
~ Chicos, no puedo volver ahora. Voy a hacer esto con o sin su ayuda.
-Suerte con eso Josh. Estaremos aquí esperando.
No me sorprendió la reacción de los elfos púrpura ante la situación. Como de costumbre, optarían por no hacer nada en lugar de arriesgar sus vidas. La pelota estaba en mi tejado. Respiré profundamente, con el corazón latiendo rápidamente, di un paso audaz hacia uno de los caminos. Apreté las manos con fuerza y cerré los ojos sin saber qué esperar.
Abrí los ojos lentamente y allí estaba. Sentado en un majestuoso trono, rodeado de hermosas flores y con radiantes luces verdes brillando a su alrededor. El Orbe era más mágico de lo que podía imaginar. Lo he conseguido. He conseguido el Orbe. Ahora por fin puedo satisfacer mi curiosidad por la magia.
