We've entered the final days of the Chaos Legion. It's be just around 1.25 years since CL packs were first released and in many ways seemed incredibly fast and terrifyingly slow. And with that, we've seen the release of the final Legendary Airdrop, the Legendary Dragon Summoner: Lily Shieldpaw.

Now, I'll admit, it wasn't what I expected out of a Dragon Summoner, but I've only been playing for about a year and a half, so who am I to judge. And I wasn't lucky enough to grab another GF Legendary Summoner, to add to my collection with Jacek, Possibilus, and Astral Entity, but the Splinterlands Team/RNG was very kind enough to send me 3 copies, enough to make her Level 2 right off the bat.
Her abilities, are quite intriguing, and admittedly, I'm still trying to figure out the best ways to play her. +1 Health is always a solid start, giving you a leg up in battle. Triage is also a great add, making her and Chanseus the Great the only summoners to have Triage in their arsenal. Finally, Camouflage really makes things interesting here. Other than Scattershot, Camouflaged monsters cannot be hit in the back line. Using this to your advantage, you can really focus on bulking up your tank and not worry about how "weak" your back line might be. Triage will then kick in and heal up anyone that may have taken damage from Scattershot.
There are several instances where Lily might come into play, including Aimless, and Supersneak, Opportunity rulesets. It also is useful if you see your opponent likes to play Monsters with those abilitys like Deep Lurker. Time will tell, however, if Lily proves to be a specialty summoner, or one that might affect the overall meta.

Let's check out this week's brawl report.
Battle #1 - Win
Ruleset - Target Practice / Armored Up / Fire & Regret

I played Bortus here in anticipation of my opponent playing Obsidian. The ruleset all but eliminates Ranged attacks with Fire & Regret and Armored Up steers more users to Magic attacks to get around the extra armor. I would've liked to have played a Void or Void Armor monster as well, but I didn't have any available. Turns out, I didn't need it. I was spot on with them using Obisidian, although the only magic user they played was Goblin Psychic. Fungus Flinger was a good play on their part since snipe targeted it first and was able to power up Mycellic Infantry and Goblin Psychic with it's Martyr ability. I had a few misses on Pelacor Mercenary despite having faster cards, and I agree with many others that Flying's miss rate is broken (though that's a discussion for another day). Ultimately, I doesn't matter as Isgald Vorst starts racking up the kills and builds it's strength thanks to Bloodlust. I emerge victorious after 7 Rounds.

Battle #2 - Loss
Ruleset - Equalizer / Tis But Scratches / Takings Sides

It's the lowest mana you can play with and I hit a great counter to a lot of options. Immortalis with Void negates anything my Dax Paragon can do (other than cripple). Than Mycelic Morphoid, with it's Thorns, shreds my Melee attackers. There's nothing my Pelacor Conjurer can do other than wait and be killed. I'm finished off in the 4th Round here.

Battle #3 - Win
Opponent Fled

I can't speak for what happened with my opponent here. But I'll take the free win whenever someone wants to give it.

That's all we've got this time around. Finishing up 2-1 overall, though it's really 1-1 in fights is ok. Though with how busy I've been this week at work, I welcome the lighter brawl schedule.
