It looks like the last day of my Twelve Days of Christmas has come at last... This is a challenge started for the Silver Gold Stackers community to share twelve items you might like to receive from you secret Santa. Under the tree works for me too. Thanks to @silverd510 for starting the initiative! So for day twelve I'm going big, it is the last day after all!
Back in 2009 the Untied States Mint produced a commemorative twenty dollar ultra high relief Double Eagle coin. I ordered one directly from the mint and received it, it was beautiful. Two years later a friend of mine really wanted one of these and had an item I really wanted so we swapped. Honestly I came out better on the trade which is the only reason I accepted the deal. Now I find that I really miss that coin, so it is going to be my pick for day twelve.

The US Mint really produced and amazing product that year, and they are very highly sought after fifteen years later! They were minted at West Point and contain one Troy ounce of pure gold. They really don't come much nicer than this! Now these coins run $3,145 on APMEX, but you can get versions graded by professional grading services that go for much higher. There were a few of these coins that came out with a proof like (mirror like) finish in field (background) of the coin. Those start at around $4,700, and one dreamer is selling one on eBay for $20,000. They must be living in fantasy land!

I also did have something exciting happen today, I finally hit 6,000 HP and even got screenshots of the event itself:
6,000 HP was my goal for this year, so it felt great to finally see that number! It was kind of like watching the odometer in your car hitting 100,000 miles, an event to remember!
