Another week is almost over, and here we are at Saturday once again. This has been an interesting week from a cryptocurrency standpoint. Once again we have been seeing some new strength behind Bitcoin pushing above the $100,000 mark again. I'm hoping this time it sticks rather than pull back on profit taking. So far the charts seem to show some strong support at $102,000. I'm always excited to see BTC on the move upward!
I read an interesting article this week about BTC. Michael Saylor the cofounder and chairman of MicroStrategy is predicting that one BTC will be worth $13 million in the year 2045. If he's right, we better all be stacking those sats a lot faster than we currently are!

Now moving onto Hive. It has been odd if you compare to the BTC chart. There are some similarities but we're seeing some weakening of support right now. I'm hoping it's not the start of another downward drift. It would be nice to see it pumping with BTC, but it is what it is. I'm still hoping for the very best for our beloved Hive!

Time for another Saturday Savers post. I've been participating less that a year in this group but it really has helped me solidify and accomplish several goals. Once I committed to those goals, I was amazed how much easier they were to accomplish. I would recommend the community to anyone wanting to further their Hive growth.
Let's have a look at how thing went for me this last week!
Hive Power
I have set my initial HP goal for this year at 10,000, which I feel is relatively easy to accomplish. As I mentioned previously, it's likely my first benchmark for a push much higher. I have increased my HP by 82 this week and currently have 6,507 staked Hive. Not the best week I could have had, so the next few weeks I'll have to be sure to post daily to reach that ten thousand level as soon as possible! Worst case scenario I could import some funds, but I really want to keep it as organic as possible.
PIMP
This year I again have a goal to reach 50K staked PIMP and it feels very doable. This is my secondary goal for this year. I started buying some this week and will keep it up. Prices haven't been too bad lately. I also earn daily from posting and from tips, so even without purchases I see my totals increasing. As of this morning I have 34,004 PIMP, so only 16K more to go. This year I will cross this one off the accomplished list!
Leo
Having met my LEO goals last year I have upped the goal to 5K staked LEO for this year. At the moment I have just over 2,318 total LEO, so I'm on my way toward the goal already! Only 2,682 to go and a full year to get there!
I do enjoy the stake based curations offered by staking LEO. At 2K I get four a month, but at 5K it increases to 6 a month.
EDSI
My goal this year is to reach 200 EDSI, and so far this week I have purchased one extra. I have just over 103 right now, so only 97 to go! It's a great token that has stayed stable over time, additionally it offers curation and dividends as well, both things that I greatly appreciate!
HSBI
Last year I had a set goal in this category, but this year I don't have a fixed goal. What happens will happen. I currently have 3,438 units, up 15 on the week. The way it works is you can sponsor another person by sending one Hive to @steembasicincome , the sponsored person receives a HSBI unit and in return, the sponsor also receives one HSBI unit. Just make sure to include the Hive name of the person you are sponsoring in the memo. It pays to give in this program!
I do offer a weekly giveaway of ten HSBI units and will include the link below. I also earn some more units by sponsoring Shadow Hunters each week. I will also share a post I put together about a year back with some information on the program for those who are unfamiliar with it. I'm very happy with the curations I receive on my posts though, but it took over a year to get to where I am now! I started off with a grand total of eleven last year.

DUO
Now for my weekly bit about the DUO token, it's my favorite after all since I helped create it. About six months ago along with @bitcoinman and @bulliontools we created the DUO token to help fill voids in the Hive community. The purpose of the token is to accumulate enough Hive Power to be able to use a portion to support new onboards and help retain them through encouragement and with curations. We currently have more than 36,170 HP in the curation account, and are already onboarding and actively searching for new Hive members that want to grow their accounts here in the community.
Our guest author program is allowing Hive members to earn by posting original content on the duo-curator account. Please see our latest duo-curator posts for rules and information on how to participate. You can receive half of the earnings from the post plus five DUO tokens and if you want we can even pay you out in DUO tokens to build your personal stash.
We also have a new number guessing game in our update posts where you can win some free DUO. Don't forget to check out our posts and guest posts for a chance to win some! Free DUO is pretty sweet! Yesterday @servelle won a little over one DUO!
DUO token holders receive by far the greatest benefits. Once you have 200 staked tokens you can receive a daily curation on your quality posts and receive daily liquid Hive dividends. Once you stake more than 500 DUO you also can use the DUO tip call to tip someone with some DUO, and in return you get the same amount of DUO in your account. It pays to tip others with DUO!
I currently have over 1,300 of these and will be continuing to purchase them. Once this tranche of tokens sells out the price will jump from one Hive to 1.5 Hive each. My advice is to buy in early while they are less expensive! Plus you will make money as soon as this batch sells out due to the price increase! All Hive from token purchases is locked into Hive Power and will never be powered down.
Other Tokens
I will continue to hold onto my staked DBOND and DAB tokens. It's a nice program that builds up over time earning you more money with essentially no effort. Staked DBOND tokens pay out DAB tokens, which you can stake to get paid out more DBOND tokens. Alternatively you can leave DAB unstaked to receive liquid Hive instead. I'm very happy with these! My current DBOND balance is 2712 and DAB balance is 50.
RUG is a token that earns income outside of Hive using liquidity pools and brings the proceeds back into Hive, 75% of earnings are paid out to RUG holders in the form of DBONDs. I never invested much in this project as it happened at the same time I was starting DUO, but this past week I bought one RUG to remind myself to purchase more!
SIM token I am continuing to hold over one million and receive daily liquid Hive for the investment. However, the price of the token has been going down over the last few months. I am still considering doubling my stake to just over two million, but I'm watching prices as they still seem to be drifting down. Still at the watch and wait phase!
POB token I currently stake all I earn and delegate it to pob.voter. In return they pay our some liquid Hive weekly which is always a welcome perk. I only have 1,275 of them now, I might make a buy to add to my stake to earn more rewards. However haven't had the free Hive yet to make purchases. It's also a great program to look into if you want to earn liquid Hive every week.
BBH and BBHO are also great programs. BBH is a tipping token which allows daily tips depending on how many you hold, I have over 50K now which gives me 50 daily tips to give which I never manage to exhaust. I love always having BBH tips available, it's nice to always be able to hand out at least a small token gift! BBHO is a nice token also created by Bradley Arrow that pays out weekly payouts of various tokens, even DUO if you hold over 2,000 staked (which I do!) I currently have 2,580 staked BBHO up by about 75 I think over last week. While I don't have any set goals here it might be nice to make 5K BBHO by years end. I may add this one in later!
CAV is a nice token as well that pays liquid Hive to it's holders and has an aim to help veterans of the armed forces of all nations here on Hive. As a veteran myself I think it's a great token. I'm going to start adding some of these weekly , although I only have seven at the moment! If you want to earn some Hive and support veterans here on Hive please invest in some CAV!
Silver
I love investing in precious metals and have done so since I was a child. This past week silver has been up just a bit. I'm hoping to see some more gains over the next several months. There may even be a push towards and all time high if things work out well this year!

These are a little expensive at $114.99, but has the potential to appreciate in value over the next several years. Many limited edition Niue coins have become rather expensive over the last decade. I may be picking one of these up later this year!
