POBphotocontest ~ NATURE, this is why we moved to the middle of nowhere

in #hive-1503298 months ago

With this week's POBphotocontest being NATURE, the creative and controlling force in the universe, I would like to show you some of the splendid life forms that also inhabit our little piece of paradise. We are the guests here and it is our mission to leave everything as we found it, an area teaming with Amphibians, Avians, Reptiles, Mammals, and Aquatic Vertebrate animals.

foraging for food hidden below a blanket of snow.

#MOTHER #NATURE, with all of its splendid gifts there for the human race to delight in has not been inoculated from our lack of heedfulness. It should be mankind's goal to preserve its elegance for future generations!!!!!

👏 Keep Up the good work on Hive ♦️ 👏

Wow! You have a lot of amazing nature on your paradise big bro!
Those garter snakes gives me the shivers... Brrrr!
Are they the ones you saw on your hay before? There's a lot of them!!
That's quite a good size fish Your pretty little angler caught. Did you eat the fish or released it back on the pond? If we caught that here, well that would probably end up on the grill😀🤭😍
You have a lot of deers!, the closest I see them is only at the zoo. Do you hunt them like for food? Or just let them be?
I have never eaten a deer's meat before some say it's delicious well if you ask me I don't think I can eat them maybe if they will not tell me that what their serving is deer meat.

Wild turkeys!!! Wow! I've tasted them before because my father used to raise turkeys when I was growing up, they did taste good.

Your post has Nature Overload! Love them all except for those garter snakes!! Yikes! Hahaha

We see wildlife nearly day in one form or another. We don't eat the fish, just catch and release, that way there's always plenty of fish for the kids to catch. When they hook into one their face lights up every time.

There's nothing like venison. You talk about all natural, it doesn't get any better.

I don't think too many people are fans of snakes.

Peace, my friend.

Happy Birthday to the Hive Blockchain

Thanks for keeping me updated, greatly appreciated.

You're welcome @thebigsweed. Looking forward to you reaching your new target 😅

The wildlife being portrayed in the post is really nice. I love the pictures especially that of the red squirrel
It looks so good

Thanks for stopping by. The picture of the Red squirrel seems to be the winner.

It is a fact that we like such natural things and seeing them gives us a lot of peace and so far the things that have come from nature have nothing else to do with them. If possible, we all should enjoy the things of nature in this way.

Nature is there for us to enjoy, not destroy.

Wow! Such a great post with lots of color of nature and these creatures 😁

thank you. Always loads of wildlife around to tickle your senses.

That's great 😃

No lack of wildlife there @thebigsweed! The image of the Red Squirrel is beautiful, as all your photos, but I shudder when I think of the fawn standing beside the road!
Those snakes and me ain't good friends, I'm terrified of any snake, whether poisonous or not!
The weather is changing here, can feel autumn is on its way.
Have a great Sunday further, hugs to you and Robin <3

At least we don't have a lot of traffic around here so the fawn's chances of getting hit by a car are slim, but you never know. I'm not a big fan of snakes either, but I think I can identify a garter snake by now. There're great around the garden helping to keep pests away.

I thought we were getting a taste of spring and then it snowed 10 inches on sunday. Robin is ready to go back to Florida.

We hope you are doing well!
