Exploring around the sinkhole again
"Think I better get this sinkhole exploration out of the way now. There could be something more around the area too" Arghrash thought to himself as he went back to Old Gullet's Sinkhole, finding a trunk with some ammo and explosives before looking around the area further.
With hellfire incinerator still out for use and finding a cave opening from the sinkhole, he proceeded inside to see what would be found.
The first thing was a glowing radroach looking his way, until it was cooked with fire and was looking, no more!
"Looks like a caravan was wandering into this cave or looking to take a break for shelter, but they were taken out" he thought as he took caps and ammo from the bodies and the brahmin meat.
Suddenly, noise could be heard further in from the cave and at first, only radroaches were seen so they were torched to a crisp and with ease until..
Things were about to get so much more hot and crazy up in this cave as a legendary feral ghoul reaver had heard the madman before making its way down, attempting to get in and do some damage.
It did manage to get a couple of hits on Arghrash as it slowly burned to death.. of course it mutated to get stronger and regain all the health that had been burned away. This quickly was once again, burned away as it ended up being a relatively easy fight to win.
The item he had gained from this legendary was a pretty decent thing as a backup piece, taking less damage from humans could help when raiding camps or buildings, full of human enemies. He likely won't need it anytime soon though.
"Ah crap not more tough ghouls to beat after just having the legendary to fight" said Arghrash as a glowing one ghoul came charging his way, but it was about to get worse.. for the glowing one had run passed the legendary and made it come back to life before it ran away for a bit.
He was not happy having to deal with this thing again, he managed to use the surroundings though, ensuring it was taken care off once more.
A good thing about killing the legendary once more was the fact, a level up was gained from the additional experience which was handy in ensuring Arghrash kept getting stronger to work on settling in somewhere, maybe a much bigger settlement he creates and then he can go all out on defeating enemies or die trying!
"Now it's your time to be burned to a crisp and let me throw in a grenade as some extra topping on this pizza for you" he shouted after throwing a frag grenade while the glowing one was burning.
It was such good timing on the explosion that not only did it finish the glowing one off.. but one of the radroaches got caught in the blast radius and was sent flying away in comedic style.
The leftovers in this cave were some scraps and bits of ammo mostly, nothing special until getting upstairs into the building attached to the cave. Plasma cartridges, shotgun shells and 10mm rounds were found in an ammo box which was a nice find.
Lastly was to work out the next thing to do which is still, likely go to that bunker once more, but the safe and then sleeping on the mattress was required.
The safe didn't have that much goodies in it but was useful still. The mattress got a bit of shut eye before a noise woke Arghrash up.
"What the hell is that?" he thought as he went back into the power armour and looked.. a woman with one of those big and deadly robots were walking along, he decided to stay put for a short time and ensure they had fully left.
