A horse for the group to use?
Orcanorc and the group had made their way back to Morthal upon which a horse, was waiting there as something they can use in their travels.. "Let's just ride you up to see the Jarl and you will come in handy" he said as he rode the horse and stopped off, to speak to the Jarl.
A discussion was had to explain that master vampire Movarth had been killed off now and the people of Morthal, will be safer. This made Jarl Idgrod happy as she passed on 600 gold as a reward for his hard work in helping.
As they kept chatting, she asked if he could assist the people of Hjaalmarch which Orcanorc happily offered.. before explaining that the things required, were done prior to this visit and he had helped with their needs. She was surprised by his generosity and handed over the Blade of Hjaalmarch as a really good reward. He was unsure what to do with this, but the damage should it activate that high magic damage, would be excellent for strong foes, hell even disenchanting and putting it on something better will be a good choice too.
"Should we quickly visit some shops here and see if we need to sell or buy anything?" Lydia asked before Orcanorc led them around town, to check out the shops.
Nothing much was required though, so the visits were short. They decided to go back to Windhelm and look to explore out from the city, then were first visited by a courier who delivered a note from Hermir Strong-Heart in Windhelm that was seeking the assistance with some troubles.
Upon entering Windhelm and then waiting some time for it to become morning, the forge was visited and some armour pieces were improved in their quality.
This allows Orcanorc to increase his smithing level and experience as something required if he wants to make great gear later on!
Inside the blacksmith's quarters was Hermir Strong-Heart who, as requested required help and it was to cure her sickness. "Alright then. I will help as best as I can, so you don't have this sickness anymore" Orcanorc claimed before leaving.
Next stop was lockpicking the Aretino residence to find Aventus Aretino. He was talking about a contract owing, since he apperantly summoned Orcanorc, in an attempt to do his bidding and help out but didn't know that isn't what happened..
But the contract was accepted.. he agreed to kill Grelod the Kind for Aventus and claim whatever reward was to be received, also the loot in Grelod's presence.
A quick trip to Whiterun to sell some items and then disenchant items to learn the effects, while lightening up his carry load.
The Blade of Hjaalmarch was first to be disenchanted but this would allow finding another much stronger weapon to be enchanted with it. Then the Steel Dagger of Dismay which hadn't been used in a long time now.. finally the Steel War Axe of Jinxes for the same reason, plus it is a heavier weapon.
For completing the assassination of Grelod the Kind, the trip to Riften was required but this would be done from the nearby rift bone altar previously visited.
Weakness started setting in more often lately as the sun rises and stays around.. seems Orcanorc is turning into a vampire, possibly?
"Well you are in a bit of shit there Orcanorc, if you have some vampirism in you which will keep you a bit weaker in the sun" claimed Vorstag as they rested for a moment at the altar.
