You have a good build up in this story. Great scene development. Your description of the apartment when Amy returns is great, especially the detail about her coffee cup. However, the story stops abruptly. When Amy asks what they can do at the end, we want to know. The author has a responsibility to resolve that issue one way or another. It's because you have kept readers' interest that they want to know. If the story had been boring we wouldn't care:)
