It's been since before Christmas since I have purchased any silver rounds, and some of that was for presents, haha. Today's pick up though was all for me! I went to visit my local coin shop and my dude had just gotten back from a precious metals expo in Orlando, FL with some great pieces. These are some 'Morgan' like rounds from a newer mint that has been doing a bunch of work for APMEX from what my dude told me. He said the name of the mint, but you know, ADHD and weed make you forget sometimes, lol.
The front of the coin has the pretty lady, and the back has the American looking eagle symbol, stars, and the label works. Not only are they great looking coins, but they are virtually brand new and super shiny!
I don't have any coin capsules at the moment so I went to work printing up a new tube container for 5 ounces on the good old Bambu Lab A1 Mini. I like to put my bullion into some kind of container to keep it safe and keep it from tarnishing so quickly. The tube that I printed is large enough to hold 5 ounces with the capsules, so when I get some next Amazon order, I will be able to cap them up then put them into the tubes.
Once they are all nice and cozy in the newly 3D printed tube, they go into the safe with the rest of the collection!
The goal is to continue to build up so I can start going out to trade shows and flipping them here and there. I am also working on some coin designs as well as just searching the databases for some cool collectable coin designs to print up using metal based filaments and sell them for like $5 a coin. I am also going to be printing up some of the displays and tubes to sell as well because let's face it, there isn't much of a spread on the bullion unless I am buying it at or below spot, which I am not, lol. The eventual idea would be to get one of the metal test machines so that I can buy onsite at spot. That would be cool.
Until next time...
Be cool, be real, and always abide with you my dudes!
