Music - Saturday and waiting for Rain

in #music3 years ago

I am excited as there is rain forecast for later today .... having come from a ridiculously hot and dry summer in Cape Town straight to spring in Europe I am seriously missing some rain on my face.

I can tell you with certainty that when the rain starts there are going to be two crazy South Africans peddling around the cobbled streets of Corbetta soaking up mother natures tears .... tears of joy as they bring life to many living things

It comes to mind that there is a living to be made for young school leavers and under graduates who speak their home tongue and English, assisting foreigners with bureaucratic processes and for dealing with estate agents, used car salespersons etc. We would be prepared to pay by the hour or per 'task' without hesitation....

BJ Thomas - Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head

A rather large negative about our accommodation generally is the proximity of every one else.... I am used to space ... and the freedom to play rather loud music !!! Obviously out of consideration for the neighborhood I have refrained so far .... but damn... I need some loud loud rock...and earphones / headphones do not cut it... I want to share !!!

But there is a rainbow each and every day we are alive, healthy and free ... so let us all who have that privilege embrace it with heart and soul

Thanks for stopping by, stay safe, stay free and love the one you with !!

Namaste

Am glad you getting what you want: Rain! LOL
Am sooo pleased we enjoy a pretty great spring recent week in my tiny country of the lowest of all lands on our globe :) BTW, welcome to crowded Europe. The continent where we live side by side. ah well, in Italy still many places where one can live with neighbours being not too close by. If you want to experience a dense living situation, come to that strange country below sea level where I live in: The Netherlands. The west of this country is like one big city!

We will indeed be visiting your country.... is it possible to cycle across the country north to south or east to west. I think that would be a very nice way to experience The Netherlands and it's people !!

Yes, sure, it is possible to cycle all the country, though it's not as tiny that you can do this in a few hours. North/South is about 250km. West/East is about 150km. Public transport is maybe a good alternative. Trains will bring you anywhere, even the smallest of towns. Ok, sometimes a bus is required. Some cities have the tram; And some even a boat. All good ways of travelling whilst having all the sensors available to capture the surroundings :)
