Pets, especially cats and dogs, often show a special attachment to one particular person in a household. It's common to see pets following a certain person around, choosing their lap to rest on, or even becoming more playful and interactive in their presence. Do pets have favourite people too?

For example, when I was away frequently last year, my cat began forming a stronger connection with my sister. In my absence, she spent more time with him, which made him more attached to her. It shows how pets naturally adapt to the availability and presence of people around them, forming bonds with those who meet their needs.
