They conduct a meeting regarding with the dish they want to cook and as they all agreed, they finally list the ingredients to buy. My Late Uncle's son was planning also for going home to celebrate also his Father's death anniversary. We are very excited about the news because it's been a long time since we could not see each other because He was living far away from our place.
The first dish we cooked is this called, Humba. This is one of the Pinoy food and we love to eat Humba. This is a series of meat addeds with Garlic, onions, vinegar, banana blossoms, and other spices.
Next dish we cooked was this called kalderita. This is one also of our favorite food to eat and we always served this on different occasions just like Birthday, Weddings, Baptisms and fiesta. We also offer some foods to the altars and this is one of our traditions also as Roman Catholic. We keep waiting for my cousins arrival from Davao, so it is very long way to travel From Davao to Misamis Oriental.
When my cousin was arrived, everyone are very excited to meet and greets him. It was very lucky also because the dish we cooked was finally done and it is ready to serve to the guest and visitors. Before we start eating, first we do prayers for the food and also we do prayer for my Uncle's soul. My Father was leading the Prayer and everyone was very quite.
When we finished eating, we decided to go to Public cemetery to offer some candles to my Uncle's grave. Me and my Family including my cousins, GrandMother , my Aunt. We offered candles and pray. Our public cemetery is far enough from our place and it needs to ride a public vehicle in order to arrived on the place immediately.
