After about 8 kilometers we reach the end of this short route, based on 12.
What I like most about the trails is leaving our natural habitat of city chaos and exchanging it for the sound of water, animal noises and best of all the "freedom" that this gives us.
I always do the trails accompanied, to be honest, no matter how easy they are, in my opinion we should feel a little confident in what we are doing because unpredictable things happen like in this case where I was just 10 centimeters away from stepping on a snake and needing hospital help.
“However, everything ends well when it goes well”
From houses with the illusion of being submerged to curious rural animals that come to us as a kind of greeting, nature has these things that are as beautiful as they are unpredictable, and no matter how much we humanize ourselves, we are part of the construction of the world and nature.
Something that gives us a feeling of freedom and the ability to make us think without much worry
We went down the river already feeling a little tired and very close to the final part where our means of transport home was. It was also possible to take the last images of the day, which for me fills the soul.
I often like to have goats or sheep at home, but I live in a city. maybe later
We passed the Roman bridge where we had come towards the other side of the bank.
some rocks and small "mini bridges" where between jumps we crossed
The route was a mix of roads, tractor roads and narrower sections where we would only be able to pass on foot
he river is also funny because in some places it became thin and low and was passable, but with a lot of current
Already a few meters ahead, deep and rocky as always
Continuing on, houses continued to appear where the river entered from below and exited in another location, some even had a mill that, taking advantage of the power of the water, ground corn to make bread, typical of older agricultural houses.
Along your trail, the path is always well identified, with these yellow and red colors where the = means correct path, and when there is - with an arrow it means "correct place to turn right or left depending on the orientation of the arrow
Some land turned into stone appeared, just castellated one on top of the other and with vineyards in its terraces
Close to getting to the car, these little goats appeared to greet us hikers and that definitely made my day, I really like these animals :) very sweet and curious, they immediately came to us
I even managed to take a photo of a bird we call "pisco", a very small bird with an orange color around the neck that mainly eats small insects
Thank you very much for reading, and we have reached the end of the east river route.
