A unique and therefore well known location in Iceland is obviously Diamond beach.
Diamond beach is located near a big glacier lagoon called Jökulsárlón. The ice from the glacier floats from the lagoon towards the ocean. From there the ice rocks are thrown back onto the black beach. The contrast between the black sand and the ice is like diamonds put on black silk.
Its a photogenic place, but it's also difficult to find compositions since there are easily a lot of distractions in the frame. And next to that, the ice formations change every day.
