Hive as a Ghanaian Culture - food edition

in #hive-1768742 years ago

If Hive was a Ghanaian food, it could have been so many things. But the most outstanding one among these many things would have been the Ghanaian food.

Talk about the diversity of hive and you’ll find that same diversity in the way Ghanaian dishes are made. Should I start with rice? Yesss!! The almighty Oriza sativa glabarima is the most diverse food commodity as far as Ghanaian dishes are concerned.

Rice alone can be used to prepare more than five dishes independently. The most fascinating thing about rice dishes in Ghana is the fact that the rice alone is enough to slap as hard as any other delicacy. And when mix the rice with cowpea, or just any variety of beans, you get the GOAT of all rice delicacies, the phenomenal Ghanaian waakye🫡. As a girl, if you taste my waakye (rice + beans) delicacy at my abode, you may think that I’m trying to seduce you. That’s how great waakye tastes.

Can anyone talk about Hive without mentioning how powerful it is? No. That is how Ghanaian dishes are, powerful. If you’re fun of gobe (gari + cowpeas), at this point, you should be able to clearly understand this point I’m trying to make. The thing is, the gari and beans mixture is so powerful that a plate of this awesome dish is enough to keep a normal person satisfied for the whole day. All you just need is water toppings.

The final thing I would like to share about what’s common with Hive and our Ghanaian culture is how we log in to our Hive accounts. Have realized the numerous ways that you can access your Hive account through different front ends? A very similar thing can be found in the way we prepare and consume our Ghanaian delicacies. There’s a popular saying in Ghana that there’s no one way to eat kenkey (a fermented corn delicacy served in wrapped maize straws), whilst some people remove the straw completely before eating their kenkey, others prefer to eat their kenkey still wrapped in straws.

There’s no one way to cook or eat a Ghanaian food. Depending on your mood, environment, preference, and resources available to you, you have every reason to prepare and consume any food you desire in a way that is best convenient to you.

Hive can be similar to the Ghanaian culture in so many different ways, above are only a few of how. What do you think about Hive and our Ghanaian foods? Share your ideas with me in the comments section below. I made my cover image with Canva. Thank You.

You welcome bro

Your habit of loving food made you merge food and hive together.😂

Not that I disagree, you did so well. The food we eat in Ghana holds a lot of power and holds that. It is excellent you are bringing this to the notice of the blockchain. Thanks for sharing.

Lol no is going to blame me for choosing food, after all who doesn’t worship food? As far as you are breathing, food is your lord.

Talking of powerful foods, I just completed a plate of gari and beans with some strong gbana😋 that was indeed powerful. An excavator can run inside my stomach right now and I wouldn’t feel nothing. Power 💥!!

Lovely one to share, thanks.

Thank you.
