Today ill share you a little bit of my creative process, honestly I was hoping to finish this tarot card today but I found myself stuck drawing all kinds of clouds and none of them convinced me until I finally came up with a result that I found visually pleasing.

hoy vengo a compartirles un poco de mi proceso creativo, honestamente esperaba poder terminar esta carta hoy pero me encontre estancada dibujando todo tipo de nubes y ninguna me convencia hasta que finalmente di con un resultado que me parecio agradable visualmente.

Let's start at the beginning

After making the star, I decided to continue making major arcane tarot cards, for now I won't say which card this is, C: let me know in the comments what kind of tarot card you think it is.

L concept

The first thing I did was to come up with a concept which is what I mentioned above, it is very important to have a concept of what you want to do, if it is a character what are its characteristics and the purpose of its existence, why? because in this way it can coexist with the background, it is much easier to select colors based on the personality or the vibe of the character you want to develop under the concepts that you previously elaborated.... it doesn't have to be something super complex, some artists have good retentive and don't need to write it down anywhere, and others just write these descriptions and look for images to support the concept and the creation of it.

I in particular try to keep in my mind what describes my character and look for images of landscapes and objects that remind me of this character's aesthetics....

Comencemos por el principio
Despues de haber hecho la estrella se me ocurrio seguir haciendo cartas de arcanas mayores del tarot, por ahora no dire que carta es esta, C: dejame saber en los comentarios que tipo de carta del tarot crees que es.
L concept
Lo primero que hice fue dar con un concepto que es lo que mencione arriba, es muy importante tener un concepto sobre que quieres hacer, si es un personaje cuales son sus caracteristicas y la finalidad de la existencia del mismo, por que ? porque de esta manera puede convivir con el fondo, se hace mucho mas facil la seleccion de colores en base a la personalidad o el vibe del el personaje que quieres desarrollar bajo los conceptos que previamente elaboraste.... no tiene que ser algo super complejo, algunos artistas tienen buena retentiva y no necesitan anotarlo en ningun lado, y otros simplemente escriben estas descripciones y buscan imagenes para apoyarse en el concepto y la creacion del mismo.
yo en particular trato de mantener en mi mente aquello que describe a mi personaje y busco imagenes de paisajes objetos que me recuerden a la estetica de este personaje....

Since I was little it was not uncommon to arrive at a doctor's office and get lost in the pictures that were in it, it just felt like reading a book... from one moment to another after observing so much your body is no longer physically where you thought you were a moment ago... and you are in another place, inside that painting, or inside that book, like a silent spectator, carefully observing everything around you... but, there were some types of paintings that left me more hypnotized than others... those of clouds and those of sea waves, and that is why I previously said that art, illustration, everything related to art, EVERYTHING, music... is strongly tied to the memories and experiences of an artist, that's how I added a bit of what in my childhood seemed like magic and today too

a quien no le gustan las nubes? cosas que hacen el arte algo individual e intimo.
Desde que era pequeña no era raro llegar a un consultorio medico y quedarme perdida en los cuadros que habian en este, simplemente se sentia como leer un libro .... de un momento a otro despues de tanto observar tu cuerpo ya no esta fisicamente donde creias estar hace un momento... y estas en otro lugar, dentro de esa pintura, o dentro de ese libro, como un espectador callado, observando detenidamente cada cosa a tu alrededor... pero, habia un tipo de cuadros que me dejaban mas hipnotizada que otros... los de nubes y los de olas del mar, y por eso previamente decia que el arte, la ilustracion todo lo relacionado al arte, TODO, la musica... esta fuertemente atado con las memorias y vivencias de un artista, asi fue como agregue un pedacito de lo que en mi niñez me parecia magia y hoy en dia tambien

sketchs

I made a sketch mainly to define the pose of the character, I made her face and I put some wings on her head in the sketch, but honestly I was not satisfied with that result so the next day I did another sketch again and after trying so much, I found what finally and once and for all seemed to me the expression, the lines and a pose that went according to what I had once imagined inside my head.

I do all this illustrating from my graphic tablet and using clip studio as
program, which is the one I've seen that has better pre-balanced sets of brushes and stuff, honestly it's what I like the most, I'm not a fan of spending hours that I could be drawing on calibrating a brush, it's just not my thing and I appreciate the artists who find it easier to do this kind of thing and presets.

hice un boceto mayormente para definir la pose del personaje, hice su cara y le coloque en el boceto unas alas en la cabeza, pero honestamente no estaba conforme con ese resultado asi que al dia siguiente volvi a hacer otro sketch y despues de tanto intentar, di con lo que finalmente y de una vez por todas me parecia la expresion las lineas y una pose que iban de acuerdo a lo que habia imaginado alguna vez dentro de mi cabeza.
Todo lo esto lo hago ilustrando desde mi tableta grafica y utilizando clip studio como
programa, que es el que he visto que tiene mejores sets prebalanceados de pinceles y demas, honestamente es lo que mas me gusta, no soy fan de pasar horas que podria estar dibujando en calibrando un pincel, simplemente no es lo mio y aprecio a los artistas que se les hace mas facil hacer este tipo de cosas y presets.

I couldn't finish it on time and day-to-day things, responsibilities both inside and outside the social world kept me busy in other areas and I don't even want to talk about how busy I'll be in the month of September xAx, C: wish me the best!
