Wednesday, short walk. Valencia/Carabobo State

I was at my mother's house, Valencia, Carabobo State/Venezuela and I went for a walk for a few minutes, as I was a little stressed.

I grabbed my cell phone and started taking pictures of what I saw while I was walking.

It is a street with many not so tall buildings, while walking I observed many trees, some had a strong and beautiful greenery, while others were already a little burned by the strong sun that prevails at this time.

I continued my way and I found a court where there were some kids playing basketball, and others sitting on some cement benches as if waiting for their turn, when I was taking the picture I saw the basketball coming towards me, I didn't want to take more pictures so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

Then I saw these bushes that I loved.

They are on the sidewalk, their color is a beautiful green and they are growing yellow flowers, but they have very few, I will try to go by that site in a few months to see if they reproduce more.

On the right hand side I saw this stream and I stopped for a moment to observe the water, where it ran, but I could not see it, it seemed stagnant and the vegetation around it was dry.

These cactus had a yellow color, I know nothing about cactus, but I understand that they store a certain amount of water when it rains or when watered to survive long in drought, (I've heard that) and these looked very sad despite having a stream nearby, I do not understand!. Could it be that also the excess water deteriorate it?

Well there I went back to my mother's house and arriving at the building where she lives, I saw some nicer cactus, better cared for.

So far my little tour of this day friends, I hope to continue sharing with you other moments. I hope you are well...

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk, its my pleasure to host it and see all the posts each week from all around the world, including yours, if you have time visit some of the other walks this week there are so many interesting ones

Now I know most only post once a week using the Wednesday walk tag or community and I truly appreciate that and love visiting the posts so for most of you you can ignore the next sentence

I try and be nice and let people know via a comment to only post once a week, but some just abuse it and to me spam multiple posts a week, after asking nicely a few times and being ignored, this morning I regrettably had to mute a couple of people who were spamming the Wednesday walk tag

Hi @tattoodjay, really that little walk released my stress despite being short, my mother is about to turn 87 years old and sometimes she steals all your energy, (of course unintentionally) and that day she was very intense, poor thing I understand her, but I needed to go out for a few minutes to drain and so I did, taking advantage of taking some pictures to get started in this fun community.
How nice and how well I like your words of welcome. Thank you so much! I don't know very well what you expect from our publications, but with time I hope to find out and make my publications here more attractive and enjoyable. I hope to continue accompanying you, it would be great 🙏👐😘.

Morning and yes 87 is a good age but I can imagine how she can drain some of your energy but not intentionally as you say and good you were abel to get out for a walk and replenish both mentally and physically

One can not take care of others if they do not take care of themselves

As for what do I expect, well the main thing I expect or wish on people is to have fun with it, so no real expectations, get out for some fresh air share what you see and feel :)

and yes Ok to publish in any language you prefer
