Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of Brother Daniel on our MCGI CARES held on zoom As long as you are in position to help others in need we should help others. It's better to give than to take. There this great joy and pleasure you feel when you are in position to genuinely help a brother or friend in need.
A man's physical appearance may look ugly but if you look deeper there is something beautiful in him because man is created in the image and likeness of God. What matters in a man, is not his looks or appearance or background. What matters is a man's heart and his personal relationship with God.
Romans 2:11
This scripture is telling us that when God wants to judge a man, he doesn't look at a man's standard of life or living or anything at all he judges every man by the same standard.
James 2:1 This scripture is telling us as christains and believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is wrong for us to treat people in different ways according to their appearance. We must never discriminate others. Discrimination is wrong in the sight of God. We should not treat people according to their family background, educational status, skin colour etc.
We should not show discrimination whether rich or poor, educated or not. What God is looking at is a man's heart not physical appearance, not your life experience or the knowledge you have acquired here on earth.
God is the creator of everything here on earth.
Exodus 4:11 This scripture is telling us that God is the one who gives man his mouth. He has the ability and power to make man deaf or dumb. God is the giver of sight and has the power to make him blind too.
Acts 10:34
In this scripture Peter was the one speaking. He said he has realized and confirmed that God almighty treat everyone on the same basis and standard.
When we are giving to the needy we should do it with a joyful heart. The Bible is saying that we should serve the lord with a open mind and gladness in our heart. Doing good to our fellow men is an obligation given to us by God. It is not just an option or something we can overlook.
Jesus Christ always talked about loving our neighbor as we love our self
