I will meet Bunda Astuti and Vivie. Bunda Astuti is a friend who is almost the same age as my birth mother. Bunda and I met as a fan and an idol author. I was a fan and she was my favourite writer at the time. We've been close since 2010, so this is our fourteenth year as friends. During these fourteen years, we've really kept in touch well, and we never get tired of trying to see each other when we have time. Like today. Mother Astuti used to live in Solo, Central Java. However, for some reason, she visited Tangerang, precisely in BSD. Since we were in the neighbourhood, we made an appointment at Cisauk Modern Market.
As for Vivie, we were also close and became good friends because we both loved reading. So, me, Bunda Astuti, and Vivie are in the same online writing community. CENDOL is the name. Vivie and I met more often because our places were not so far apart. It only takes about 30 minutes to ride a motorbike, so we can visit each other's residences here.
I departed from Pondok Ranji station to Cisauk station. The Commuter Line journey only took about thirty minutes. After arriving at Cisauk station, I had to pass through the Long flyover which is directly connected to the Cisauk Modern Market. This flyover is about one kilometre long. I was very happy with the construction of this bridge. I didn't feel so hot. The construction project of the Commuter Line station and the Modern Market is indeed brilliant, we, the visitors are facilitated access.
The Cisauk Modern Market provides a free bus that will take passengers to the designated route. According to Bunda Astuti, she feels helped by this bus. Besides saving time, she can also save money. Look at this very spacious and neat bus terminal. Users of this facility will definitely feel comfortable and happy.
Bunda Astuti, who was waiting at the upper food court, directed me to enter through door number two. From door number two, you can immediately see the words FOOD PLAZA, so this is indeed the area for the food court. I immediately looked for the table that Bunda Astuti had instructed me to find over the phone.
Not long after, the three of us met at a table in front of a Padang rice stall. I ordered rice with rendang, Vivie ordered rice with grilled chicken, while BUnda Astuti, who loves fish, ordered snapper curry.
Everything was delicious. After we finished eating, we continued our meal by ordering coffee from the coffee shop right next to Nasi Padang. A glass of amerikano from WALOO coffee accompanied our afternoon. We chatted a lot during the meeting. Vivie, me and Bunda Astuti shared a lot of concerns about feminism, concerns about the digital age where the flow of information is very fast, as well as its impact on the number of suicides that are increasing day by day.
After 8.00pm, we decided to go home and parted ways at the culinary market on the ground floor. We took a few selfies before finally saying goodbye.
That night, we went home feeling lighter and happier.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
