As a country with many different tribes, customs, and cultures, Indonesia also has many endless tourist charms.
Call it the most famous ones, such as Monas in Jakarta, Kuta Beach in Bali, Labuan Bajo in Komodo Islan, as well as a beautiful city frequented by foreign tourists, Yogyakarta. Not far from the city of Yogyakarta, there is a landmark that was once designated by UNESCO as the seven wonders of the world, namely the Borobudur Temple.
Borobudur is a temple or shrine as well as one of the largest Buddhist monuments in the world.
Because the Borobudur temple is very famous and iconic, this inspired an architect to build an eco-park-themed tourist spot in Semarang whose concept resembles the Borobudur temple as a visitor attraction.
Dusun Semilir Eco-Park
Initially, this location was built as a shopping and culinary center, but because visitors really like the idea of a very good artistic texture to fill the social media line, over time, Dusun Semilir tourism increases the facilities to be enjoyed and becomes a new magnet for visitors who want to take pictures. while enjoying the splendor of the iconic architecture.
Seven Stupas
If we look at the photo from afar, we can see that the whole architecture refers to the stupa of the Borobudur temple, the seven large stupas and in the middle there is a giant pule tree surrounded by woven bamboo and strong nets. wrapped in vines. This gives the impression of being very beautiful and cool.
These seven stupas are a combination of modern and traditional art. The face is a combination of iron and glass. Meanwhile, to get to the stupa there is a long bridge made of wood and bamboo.
While on the way to the connecting bridge, I also found a statue of a group of giraffes which turned out to be made of cement covered with glass. The glass innni is cut into small cubes and then pasted evenly over the entire surface of the giraffe statue. Above the giraffe statue, we can see a tree-covered bridge.
What can we find inside the stupa?
Inside the stupa, besides being able to take shelter, we can also buy food because there are lots of food tenants, ranging from traditional food, Korean food, Japanese food, and even local specialties.
Here, you can see the roof of the room is made of woven bamboo, and below it hang beautiful lights that make the indoor view very beautiful. Not to mention there are fairy tips. That said, this pure tree is devoted to the house of the fairies. Hehehe ... of course it's just a composition to attract visitors, Guys.
Backyard
In the backyard of the Dusun Semilir courtyard, there is a large fish pond on top of which there is a red water dragon statue. This dragon statue gives the impression as if he is flying on the surface of the water. While on top of it, there is a skeleton of a female figure. Hm ... because this is just a skeleton and not yet fully finished, then, I also don't know the story about this female statue and its origin.
Dusun Semilir eco-park is located on Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Ngempel, Bawen, Ngemplak, Semarang regency.
open daily from 11am-8pm.
