It's still December and the festive joy of Christmas. Of course you all know the latest film from the stunning Ariana Grande. Yash... Wicked. During its promo period, Wicked also enlivened the Christmas atmosphere in Jakarta, especially at Plaza Senayan. Actually, I haven't been able to see the film in the theatre yet, but the euphoria to participate in the festivities or welcome this musical film is very exciting for me.
This happened on Sunday morning after my running event for the Indonesian Cancer Foundation. After relaxing, I walked to the Paza Senayan area. It was early in the morning, so there weren't many people visiting even just to enjoy the Wicked-style Christmas decorations.
What caught my attention the most was the Christmas tree made of giant colourful balloons. It's a fresh and charming colour combination with Wicked written at the bottom. I asked my friend to take a photo while I posed. Hahaha
Other decorations included a bright pink Christmas tree depicting the character Glinda played by Ariana. Matching coloured lights surrounded Glinda's Christmas tree, underneath which faux tulips complemented the beauty.
While the real tree in front of the building also has Christmas decorations in the form of large gifts that depict the joy of Christmas. The decorations did not end there. The hallway leading to the area was also decorated with light purple ornaments.
Another interesting photo spot is the super large photo of Ginda and Elphaba, both of whom are very charismatic. There is wicked writing with a combination of green that symbolises Elphaba and pink that describes the character of Glinda.
As for the very front, there are palace decorations that are all green in colour. At first glance, I actually thought this was a decoration for Ramadan, because I thought it was a mosque decoration, but I was wrong. This is a decoration or diorama of a Wicked-style palace gate.
There is a beautiful bed of tulips at the front of the palace gate. No wonder this area has gone viral on social media, because the decorations are that beautiful. When I was there, the running community of the shoe brand Asics was holding a running event together and cooling down together. Since I'm from the running community, I just took a picture as a memento.
I was very happy with this beautiful decoration. And Ariana was also very beautiful in her pink dress. Good luck for the film, Wicked!
