This happened to me when I was travelling home to attend my friend Zaza's wedding a few months ago. I bought a train ticket with an evening departure. This was to minimise not being left behind because the distance between where I lived and the departure station was quite far. Not to mention that I had to work first before heading to the station, so the most ideal time in my opinion was the night train.
Once I arrived, it turned out that I still had time to fill my stomach first, so I looked for a food tenant that was practical and not too crowded. I had to walk all the way to the exit and found a suitable food tenant. : WOK AJA
SIMPLE, CHEAP, AND TASTY FROM WOK AJA
Wok Aja is a food tenant that provides a rice box package with chicken cooked with 6 variants of seasoning: ayam sambal terasi, ayam mentai sauce, ayam saus lada hitam, ayam saus asam manis, ayam saua asam pedas ala Thai, and ayam saua mentega. As for the additional menu, there are two variants of fried rice: chicken fried rice and mushroom fried rice.
As for additional toppings, there are two choices of vegetables: garlic chickpeas or kailan. I ordered the butter chicken fried rice topped with garlic chickpeas. I actually wanted to order kailan, but unfortunately the kailan had run out, so the chickpea was fine.
The price for all variants is 22,000 rupiah including tax. While they were preparing my order, the aroma of garlic and butter was very fragrant, making me, who was already hungry, even hungrier.
About five minutes later, my order was ready for me to enjoy. I quickly opened the lid of the box and enjoyed a portion of fried chicken, rice and chickpeas with a pleasant aroma of garlic.
In my opinion, the portion is very small, if it's for me... for me it's just right, but it might be less for some people who have larger portions. I really liked how the chickpeas were cooked while still leaving a crunchy texture. As for the chicken, it's a type of flour fried chicken cut into small pieces similar to pop chicken, which is then mixed with their secret sauce.
The rice is fluffy. Overall, I liked the menu from WOK AJa by Sapo Oriental. Shortly after I finished my meal, I heard over the loudspeaker that the train I was about to board had started to enter towards the boarding pass. Finally, I was off.
