Hello my dear friends today I will tell you about a particular sculpture exhibition linked to a love story. The works are by one of the leading exponents of contemporary figurative sculpture in Italy, Ugo Riva.
The exhibition is hosted until 3 July at the Osvaldo Licini Museum in Monte Vidon Corrado in the Marche region.
Ciao miei cari amici oggi vi parlerò di una particolare mostra di sculture legata ad una storia d'amore. Le opere sono di uno dei massimi esponenti della scultura figurativa contemporanea in Italia, Ugo Riva.
L'esposizione è accolta fino al 3 luglio presso il Museo Osvaldo Licini a Monte Vidon Corrado nella regione Marche.
Monte Vidon Corrado is a small town where a great 20th century painter was born, Osvaldo Licini, to whom a museum located in the historic center has been dedicated.
Monte Vidon Corrado è un piccolo paese dove è nato un grande pittore del 900, Osvaldo Licini a cui è stato dedicato un museo che si trova nel centro storico.
This exhibition was dedicated to a special woman, wife, mother, doctor, lover of art, which unfortunately died prematurely a few years ago due to illness. She called Rosy and she left an unbridgeable void in her family. These nine sculptures are the synthesis of her character, a doctor always ready to welcome and pay attention to others.
Questa mostra è stata dedicata ad una donna speciale, moglie, madre, medico, amante dell'arte, la quale purtroppo si è spenta prematuramente qualche anno fa per malattia. Si chiamava Rosy e lasciò nella sua famiglia un vuoto incolmabile. Queste nove sculture sono il riassunto del suo carattere, una dottoressa sempre pronta all'accoglienza e all'attenzione verso il prossimo.

Rosy, together with her husband Valerio, had one thing in common, the love for art, in particular for the sculpture and their contact with Ugo was subsequent to an exhibition in Arezzo
Rosy insieme a suo marito Valerio, avevano una cosa in comune, l'amore per l'arte, in special modo per la scultura e il loro contatto con Ugo fu successivo ad un'esposizione ad Arezzo.

Ugo Riva created these small sculptures in polychrome terracotta, recounting not only the drama of this family, but also the collective mourning resulting from Covid-19, because he is from Bergamo, the Italian city most affected by the pandemic.
Ugo Riva ha realizzato queste piccole sculture in terracotta policroma, raccontando non solo il dramma di questa famiglia, ma anche il lutto collettivo derivato dal Covid-19, essendo lui di Bergamo la città italiana più colpita dalla pandemia.
