Terra Classic Community Launches Petition to Get LUNC Listed on Robinhood

Following the unusual descent of Terra LUNA, and TerraUSD (UST) founded by Do Kwon and the TerraForm Labs, the community has been ramping up efforts to stage a comeback for the embattled crypto token which was later abandoned by the creators.

It is worth noting that the Terra Classic (LUNC) project is now being run and managed by Terra Rebels, a decentralized group of developers that is focused on the revitalization of the project. So far, the Terra Rebels group have rolled out several developments, programs, and initiatives as the aim to draw the attention of investors to the project yet again.

While the burning of the Terra Classic native token, LUNC is the top priority for the community, the community is also aiming to activate the Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) on the network to make the it particularly interoperable with the Cosmos blockchain. The team has equally released a new roadmap for the project.

Petition To List LUNC on Robinhood

In a recent development, the Terra Classic community have launched a petition requesting to get LUNC listed on the popular and multifaceted Robinhood trading platform. Robinhood is a popular stock trading platform and brokerage services provider. Notably, while cryptocurrency services are offered through Robinhood Crypto, LLC, brokerage services are delivered through Robinhood Financial LLC and Robinhood Securities, LLC.

The Terra Classic believes that getting LUNC listed for trading on the widely used Robinhood crypto trading platform will give the token more exposure thereby contributing to the growth of the token's market capitalization. The petition which was started about a month ago by a certain member of the Terra Classic community QDS Land, has been signed by 6,820 supporters at the time of writing.

QDS Land wrote in the petition saying;

"The people of #LuncCommunity are seeking to list the Terra Luna Classic Coin (LUNC) on the Robinhood platform. This would be a benefit not only to the #LuncCommunity, but more so, to Robinhood as well. There are currently over 1.5 Million LUNC holders and growing everyday. We are also running a current 24 hour volume of over $2.5 to 3 Billion Dollars, and have gained over 300,000 wallets in the last 4 months, at the time of starting this petition."

However, for the petition which was launched on change.org to receive a reaction from the decision maker and possible see the no-commission Robinhood trading platform list the LUNC token, at least 7,500 members must sign/ support the petition.

Terra Classic (LUNC) in the Market

Getting the digital token LUNC to be listed on Robinhood would be a big win for the project as it will gain more exposure, thereby causing more investors to consider trading the crypto asset.

At the time of writing, LUNC is currently the 34th largest crypto token by market capitalization ($1,571,477,115) and is trading for $0.0002391, according to data from Coinmarketcap. In the past 7 days, the crypto token as seen a price drop of about 15% whereas in the past 24 hours, it has declined for about $5.15 in dollar value.
