Hello everyone,
This is my first entry for the #zingtober event for @holozing. Im not a good painter, but I try to project what comes to mind after getting the daily prompt for the event.
ZINGTOBER DAY 23: RUST
This was what came to mind after getting this prompt. Yeps, it was the barb wire.
IT'S BETTER NOW OR NEVER
Yeah, I know it's not that good, but yeah, I'm trying my best to illustrate it in pictures. This reminds me of my childhood life, where we used to cross the barb wire from one place to another, especially at the farm. Well, it's not actually for humans but to protect the land from the cow because the cow in our village was, I think, considered special because the owner just let it go find their own grass during the day, and a lot of time they'll trespass and eat the farm, and guess what? It'll not be the cow owner's fault if the farmer didn't put a fence on their land.
Many times they used the barb wire to make the fence, and most of the time it was rusty. This is why I am using this illustration as my artwork today.
This was some process drawing it on my paper:
Actually, I think this sketch is much better than the final drawing, but the final drawing gives me satisfaction to sketch on paper.
I told you this was looking better. What do you think?
I hope I'm not too late joining the #zingtober fever; at least I was able to participate in the 5K run for this event achievement. I just realised that we had this event since the first day of October until now.
I decided to participate in this event, and hopefully I got the time because my work now makes me very tired every day, and it makes me sleep after working time to recover my fatigue. This was actually interesting and gave me the reason to start working on my drawing skill, which I have talked to myself to improve it again and again many times.
Thanks for stopping by, and please continue watching my journey as a beginner in sketching. See you in tomorrow prompt.
