Dry season has come and Beach is one of the best place to go during these hot weathers.
But I and my colleagues had gone to the beach too early yet we still had so much fun!
Shortly after our stop on the famous Bugna bridge, we continued our travel and passed by on remote areas and then finally went downhill to the highway that led us to the beach.
During our travel, I took a selfie with my colleague
The Preparation
But before that, everyone gathered in our post to prepare food and vehicles for our exciting trip.
Goodies and foodies were bought in the market and the fish and meat were marinated so we could give them time to taste better while we traveled.
During our stop on Bugna Bridge
There were only few houses that we passed by on the detour road; It opened not long ago and only a few lived here due to transportation issues.
When on the topmost of the mountain roads, I noticed that the sea could be seen already and it was such an amazing scenery to see.
The route we took was longer than the highway and so we all got bored but then we went downhill and found ourselves back in the middle of the civilization again!
We passed by on Tagoloan River whose end meets the sea causing rise on water level during high tides.
Excitement could not be contained and finally we arrived at the beach! The sand were not white and the water not crystal clear but what we had is enough to enjoy. Besides, all sea waters tastes salty.
When we arrived, the children went ahead to the waters and the adults prepared the food. Some went drinking too a a reward of the long day of hard work during the holidays.
We all then shared the food and after lunch, everybody decided to go boating and hang out on the deep and clean waters of the sea
It was still very hot and the boys were forcing me to drink alcohol so I fled to the waters and joined them on the boat
Food, Sun, Fun and Beach got us all tired and and as time rolled by so fast, the day ended and we had to head back home. It had been such a great experience.
But I had been well behaved all the time we were on the beach because I don't want to get hurt like I had in the past.
Not only did the beach brought fun to me but also the old and painful memories. Once when I was in my sister's place in Paranaque, I took a day out from work and went with them on an over night stay on the beach where I got drunk and did a show off and failed my tumbling on a shallow part of the beach and got my head, neck and back hurt. Because of the pain I felt, I got sober in an instant and then fell asleep afterwards.
Till now, I am still feeling the pain in my back especially when the weather gets colder. That is why whenever I go to beaches nowadays ,I make sure to be extra careful and not to show off anymore. Lesson learned the hard way.
Too bad my family were not with me yet I am hoping that on my next visit to the beach, I would be able to bring them with me.
