For that reason, in the conclave there were former colleagues of mine, among them, there was the person I had left as director of the University Branch of the municipality where I lived, when I decided to move to Havana, the place where I live since 2015.
These colleagues were staying at the Tulipán Hotel and my wife and I went there to see these educators who were our work colleagues.
When we arrived, we were served and sent to sit in the lobby until our colleague arrived. We went to a place set up inside the hotel to sell some things to the guests, including rum, coffee, beer and snacks.
I could not believe it. In this place that was set up as a cafeteria inside the hotel, they were offering what for me is the biggest craze in a cafeteria.
The first thing I did was to order a cup of coffee and then a beer. When I ordered this combination, several of the eyes in the place turned to me. At the table, my wife was explaining to some of them that I drink coffee with beer every time I go to a coffee shop and even at home. When there is an activity and I drink beer, I make a pot of coffee and I also drink my cups of coffee.
This is my biggest hobby or whim every time I go to a coffee shop; in fact, on a few occasions I have left some of these facilities because they do not have one of the two beverages and, I go to other places that can indulge this hobby.
I wish I could have shown the photos in one of my favorite coffee shops; but, it was not to be. But, I did not want to stop participating in this initiative that I like so much.
