Hi, my dear friends!
The weather is extremely unstable. It rains, it snows, and then the grass is green. Sometimes I feel like nature doesn't even know what season it is anymore. My trees have definitely got it all mixed up because they have recently budded. The only reason the new leaves haven't budded is because of the sudden frost. The trees were very puzzled.
It was just after the November rain that these photos were taken. That was four days ago. I think it turned out pretty well. It was a new idea after my endless hunt for flowers and insects.
An autumn oak leaf lying on amazingly green grass (totally atypical for our November) and covered in large raindrops. I found it interesting.
Tomorrow is the first day of winter, but nothing says this weather swing is going to stop. I don't have too many demands in that regard, although of course I'd like a Christmas night with bright stars in the sky and fluffy snow underfoot. I hope that's what it will be.
